Meet Jyrki and Carmine

I keep forgetting to make this post, but now I finally have time to make it. =D I have two Roborovski Dwarf Hamsters, both males. Jyrki Houdini name after Jyrki (a Finnish rocker) and Houdini (Harry Houdini). I got him on 10/9/10 (a year and 8 months old), and he's a very behaved and tamed hamster. On 9/26/11 (9 months old) I got my second hamster =D I named him Ezio Carmine. He was named after Ezio from Assassin's Creed and Carmine from Gears of War. Even though Jyrki was a very chill, tamed hamster....oh god, Carmine is the total opposite -___- He escaped twice, first time it took me 30 mins to capture him and the second time took me 10 mins. He's easy to scare and won't let me hold him. Another thing, he's very vocal. I love them! I like the first picture of Carmine, he looks so young and adorable. I have a female Robo Dwarf named Bonnie. So I particularly love yours XD

lol thank you!! =D Yep! Carmine was very young, and he was uber tiny compared to Jyrki when I first got him. But now he's bigger than Jyrki xD He bloomed out beautifully. Awww!! =D Love the name, reminds me of the vampire diaries lol If you can or ever get a chance, I would love to see a pic of her

I love the really tiny ones. It looks like Jyrki has a lot of white on him When I go to the pet store now, I look at all the baby robos and realize that I've fattened Bonnie up pretty good xD Originally I was going to get a male as well and name him Clyde..but it just didn't pan out. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/65332302@N06/7484490966/in/photostream/lightbox/"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.flickr.com/photos/65332302@N ... /lightbox/</a> This was one of the first times she actually sat there without going crazy. I don't believe she's very old there, maybe a month or two.

Same here! But they're so hard to catch if they get loose >.< lol I believe Jyrki is a white face, also known as a husky. lol you sure did! xD I've never seen a nice full robo hamster at the pet store, they're all tiny. Ah, I see....When I first went to get Jyrki, they only had 2 males at the time, which was pretty easy for me to pick xD And when I went to get another hamster a year later, I had a hard time deciding if I wanted a boy or a girl. My mom kind pushed me to get a male because she knows that I would have been tempted to breed them. Awww she super cute!!

Yea. Bonnie has gotten loose once. She is a fast little bugger if she wants to be..xD And my pet store doesn't even sell males, they're all females. I'm sure because they don't want too much breeding to go on. If I looked hard enough I'm sure I could find one somewhere. My Mom was okay with me breeding them..sort of. But than I realized..what am I going to do with a bunch of Robo babies? xD I didn't even know there were different types of Robos. Like a husky. That's really cool

haha it's a pain trying to catch them xDDD Oh wow o.o didn't know they have places that sells just one gender. Yeah, I thought about it, and I was like if I were to breed them, what on earth am I going to do with the babies? lol Yep yep!! =D I want a platinum, which can vary from a very faded colored robo to an all white robo.

I've always been partial to the Campbell's Dwarf myself :P They come in many more colors than the other 3 dwarf species.

Campbells are alright, but I still prefer Robos :P And I still remember you making fun of Jyrki's name when I first got him :P lol
