Helicopter Ride

<span style="font-size:85"><span style="color:#0000FF">So yesterday I took my first helicopter ride at my work place. It was a military training operation but my childhood friend growing up who is in charge (I can't say what he is) managed to get me a seat. We took a ride all around! I saw wild burrows and rams. I rode on top of the Colorado River. I flew on top of mountains... I was so excited! The whole trip was amazing. The only pictures I'm allowed to release are some mountains and the river. Others are classified.     <span style="font-size:85"><span style="color:#0000FF">Sweety, no I don't. The ram was in the classified zone. Someone managed to get pics of the wild burrows though. Ill see if I can show that. (:<br><br>Ana, It was about two hours. I would SO go on it again. Its not like I expected. The ride was smoother then a rollercoaster. It feels like maybe being on a boat. The turns were deep and hanging out there was a little scary at first but I -LOVED- it. I actually do hope I can go again. The higher you went, the windier it got. I wasn't a fan of the wind, especially with my hair lol it would hit my in the face. So one of the guys gave me his super cool shades XD</span></span>

    I've only been on a helicopter once like 10 years ago. It was only a 20-30 minute ride over my city so nothing like yours! I thoroughly enjoyed it though. My only other flight "comparison" was going up then down in a hot air balloon. One of our neighbors has a balloon, and he used to set it up at the park sometimes and take neighborhood kids up and down lol<br><br>You got some amazing views though, I'm jealous :P

    That's really awesome! Especially in a military helicopter. Looks like an incredible ride, though! Very jealous.

    It wasn't super high, it was over the houses, but he was just giving rides straight up and down. Balloon was tied to the ground :P Landings are rough though! lol
