For months now, I have been begging and begging my dad to be able to move pumpkin. We have been experiencing so many problems at our current barn that have been affecting pumpkin's health. Pumpkin went from a fatty to pretty much a bag of bones. It makes me so angry that the owner of this barn flat out refused to give my horse more food. Pumpkin has been on 2 flakes of coastal and half a scoop of safe choice with a fat rate I think of like 5 %. My dad had been brainwashed by him, told that pumpkin's weight was fine and was perfect. Now funny how all the horses that belong to this man have exposed hip bones, ribs, and extremely high withers. Theh only horses of his that aren't underweight are two his expensive show horses. Ugh. My poor pony. And all his poor ponies. This man a runs a successful business though. He's got plenty of boarders and students. I find it rather sad. Also, pumpkin has been living in a completely trashed paddock. It's also been raining so his paddocock is a SWAMP. Guess what friend that's gonna bring up again? THRUSH. I'll take a pic when we go for the farrier today. Anyways, this weekend, finally, we are moving him. Haha I'm on a rainbow slide with ice cream and little fairy friends. I'm sure pumpkin will be too. This new barn isn't the most beautiful barn, but neither is the one I'm at now. But, pumpkin will be getting a nice stall with a little open window in the back that is opened to a little paddock with three teeny ponies so he can have buddies. He also has a stall door that's only half, so now he can look out of his stall. Also, these people are by no
means stingy with food, so pumpkin will be getting as much food as we feel is necissary. Ooh and what I like most is that every day from one to five at night he gets to go out in acres of paddock with tons of grass to graze on and lots of shade. Almost like a cow field. xD what makes me happier is that one of my friends just
moved her horse there recently so he gets to go out with her horse. It's nice cause roman(her horse)is his
buddy. They've got tons of trails to gallop on and there's a lake! Also they have two nice rings with clay
footing so it won't hurt his sfeet. (My current place has rocks). One's a flat ring and one has jumps. To make it
better, this place is such a friendly environment. There are tons of kids my age instead of just older teens and adults like at my old barn, so i finally have people to ride with. Ahhh I'm just so excited.!!! Rainbow slides ice cream and fairy friends to whoever read this. xD
