All About Koopa

Well when I first joined a posted a thread about meeting my pack of dogs and shared a few photos. Well now lets go a little more in depth. Here's some info about Koopa Name: Koopa Nicknames: King Koopa, Koopa Poopa, Big Poops, Koops Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier - Greyline Bloodline Color: Black with white markings. Has a grey sheen to his coat in the light and chocolate undertones Birthday: Dec. 23, 2009 - Current age: 2 years 5 months Size: 20-21 inches tall and approx 80 pounds Joined our family at 7 weeks old Personality: Koopa is a big sweet spoiled baby. He is a wonderful dog and while he is 80 pounds he thinks he is a 10 pound lap dog. He loves people, loves to get petted and have cuddles and enjoys sleeping in the bed on our pillows. He loves other dogs and lives with a husky and pekingese. Koopa also loves cats and lives with 4 of them along with 2 rats. He is very gentle with smaller animals and likes to play nanny to baby kittens. He likes to play tug of war but mostly enjoys laying in the house napping. He is quite goofy and silly from time to time and has huge, sad, brown eyes that will melt your heart. He is the kind of dog that will be by your side no matter what. A very happy fellow and smart to boot. He knows how to sit, lay, give paw, give other paw, and touch which is where he jumps up to touch his nose to my hand and sits back down. If I wasn't so lazy I could teach him tons more. Koopa is a cutie! I'm surprised that he's got Greyline blood. Generally, that's more on the American Bully side than APBT. He's also seal colored, not often seen in Greyline that I've noticed. If you have a copy of his pedigree, I'd love to see it.

Thanks zagari, I also think he's a cutie but then again he is mine lol. I do not have a copy of his pedigree but was told that was his bloodline. Which they could have lied about that as people are underhanded. We did not get Koopa from the breeder but from someone who had gotten him but was not allowed to keep him. Why people get dogs without checking to see if they can keep them is beyond me. Even if he wasn't from that line it wouldn't matter as he is just our big love bug. I have noticed a lot of Greylines that are more American Bully sized, at last the ones online are. But I have also seen some that are more the build Koopa is. Compared to the other pit bulls where I live Koopa is huge muscle wise, the others are much leaner. So not sure if location plays a role with the bloodlines or not.

Anything is possible, I guess! The puppy picture of him with the shirt on makes me melt. His ears are adorable in that picture.

That was taken the day we got him. We though he would have the little button ears like our first pit bull Bowser had judging from his little puppy ears. Then they grew and he developed the more common pit bull ears he has now :P He'll still let me put clothes and hats and what not on him, he doesn't care what we do to him as long as he gets cuddles.

I always was thinking seal looks different under different lights, the dog would be outside and look chocolate than be inside he would look black or am I wrong ? though I can see the chocolate in him, Hes handsom fella though.

Seal looks black but has red tones in the sunlight. If you stood this dog next to say, a Doberman, you'd be able to tell right away who was true black and who was seal.

Koopa has different colors under different lights. When he is inside he looks dark black, when he is outside in the sun you can see the grey sheen or when you take his picture he looks more greyish. Then depending on the light you can see the chocolate tones underneath. Lol he is a dog of 3 colors white white accents. And thanks for saying he's handsome

A lot of people tell me they want to take Koopa lol even people on a husky forum want him :P He really is a great dog, so sweet, goofy, and cuddly

I just want to hug him!! He is so cute and cuddle-ee looking! Reminds me of my neighbors dog. Love his fur color also. Such a pretty pit!
