• Last time I checked, you can still import these if you wanted to start a line or build an army.

  • I'm right there with you. I use to not care for the Halloween and fantasy breeds but I've grown rather fond of them :D I have a few in my kennels even :3

Cu Siths are similar to other ghost dogs (Black Dog, Black Shuck, Barghest, etc.). The main thing about Cu Siths is their green coloration, faerie (fairy) relation, and their suggested hunting ground (Scotland). Cu Siths also aren't given glowing red eyes as many of the other ghost hounds are said to possess. Most (if not all) of the ghost dog myths associate the dogs with death, graveyards, and the afterlife. They are either hunting to bring victims to their early deaths, or they are simply vessels of which a passed soul may travel by.

Cu Sith was a very large canine about the same size as a large calf. This enormous hound was covered with dark green shaggy fur and had a braided or curled tail.

The green color seems to relate to the green clothing known to be worn by the fairies.

Just as the Grim Reaper, this mystic beast was feared as being the messenger of death, appearing only to take one over to the afterlife.

This mythical creature was capable of hunting silently, sometimes letting out three consecutive, extremely loud barks. These could be heard from very far away – even by sailors on ships out at sea.

This particular warning meant that all husbands needed to quickly hide and lock up their wives. Wives were vulnerable to being abducted by this monstrous green dog. He would carry them off to fairy mounds where they were milked to feed the fairy children.

I love the fantasy breeds, though I have a stronger obsession towards mythology rich breeds (Hellhounds, Cu Siths, etc.). I don't know if I have many of the Halloween breeds though, as I never really tried to start lines of them. I heard Hellhounds are ridiculously difficult and that 10x4s would likely require over 100 imports, so they're not exactly my idea of fun. :P

    On an indefinite hiatus.
  • My army is growing! I now have a ghost hound, hell hounds, Cerebrus's, and hopefully headless hounds soon.
    93fx.jpg
  • My current obsessions are WEREWOLVES & Tosas. Love them. I couldn't find any decent ones for about two months; because the owner was either charging millions for like, 3x3s, or just refused to sell. I finally got an amazing 8x4 male (highest I've seen), he cost less then a milly and was / is still young / unnamed! I was so happy when that little message came up saying that he was transferred to my kennel; that I yelped. O.o THEN, I come across this abandoned kennel with an 8x4 FEMALE for him. I yelped again. O.o Anyway.. hopefully im on my way to 9-10x4s with this pair. Im in love with them. xD <3
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
