I was gone for a month. But I am back, so, hi. How is everyone? I has secrets for youuu. I is moving my poneh to a new barn. I is getting a doggeh. I have red hair. Soo.. hi! I missed you!
Yup! Fat ponies are better! Mine all got skinny because the drought hit us reaally hard last year and Rosie's the only one who's back 100%. Ro still needs to finish filling out, his ribs dont show but he's gotta gain his topline back and Nova is ribby and everything. As a TB its REALLY hard to get weight back on her.
He's Big O-o He's going on 15 months and just started his yearling growth spurt and i swear he was the same height as my 15.2 hh mare earlier. I would be shocked if he didnt reach 16 hh. OH! Plus he has a new little sister!
Rosie and i have our first competition next weekend. Im terrified haha! Weve finally figured out out flying lead changes and we catch em every time. Weve even been doing slides stops and riding on a loose rein... which for Rosie is AMAZING.
Lol..my last mare project was a little pony named Pixie. She was a brat of all brats. But, I loved her. Literally, she would not move. She would just stand there and pout. I'm 5' and she was 9 hands, and I still wasn't stronger than her. xD
My paint doesnt do em either! It bugs me! To no end! I literally bought Rosie just cuz she did them. I love em. Theyre SOO fun! For a while i kept messing with her lead changes and she's crossfire but i got my friend (who owns Romans daddy and the filly) to come over so i could watch her cue Rosie for em and weve had em ever since. Now my plan is to work on my paint with them since she crossfired every time too. Ive gotta get her back in shape though. Ive been solely riding Rosie because of the competition.
