Summer

Since summer is around the corner, does anyone have awesome plans to do? =D<br><br>Today, I just signed up to take two courses in the summer. One class for my major and one is a just for fun class. I'm taking:<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">African American Studies 181 Hip Hop in Urban America</span>: History, aesthetics, urban context, and economics of hip-hop in the US, and its globalization. Hip-hop's four artistic elements-rap, deejaying, breakdance, and aerosol art-allow the examination of issues of race, ethnicity, and gender in youth culture and American society.<br><br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Music 106 Rock</span>: Rock and the evolution of rock styles in historical and cultural context.<br><br><br>So, I'm pretty excited taking two music classes c: Then my birthday is coming up in July and in mid-August, I'm finally moving out of current apartment. The only thing that bums me out is that a handful of friends that started college with me will be graduating and moving out :/

    I currently have no plans for summer... how sad... i finish in 3weeks as well.... probably going to do some work... and do a driving course & pass my test. But other than that no plans.<br><br>Good luck on your classes

    some interesting classes, hope you enjoy them. <br><br>This semester just ended today after I took my last final ... so now its just relaxing time for me. Will be working with my new sponsor kennels over the summer yay :mrgreen: Here's hoping everyone has a great summer!

    I currently have about 5 weeks left of classes till summer and as of right now I do not plan on taking summer classes but if they say its on my schedule well summer classes here I come! lol If I don't have classes this summer it is going to be filled with a couple jobs, friends, and of course Vp =D

    Working! Babysitting and lifeguarding. Taking a lifeguarding course right now to get certified and then I'll be all set. <br><br>Hoping to save up for a club trip! And of course an upgrade or two ;)

    <br><br>lol that's pretty cool! What kind of government job? o.o Sadly, I have to take a summer class if I want to finish on time -_- Plus, I think it'll be best for my dog's health. Last summer, I spent it with him and he got very sick when I had to go back to school. And I don't want that to happen again. <br><br>

    <br><br>lol I have 5 weeks till summer, than 1 week of vacations before summer classes start XD No one can forget about VP during the summer, well unless you're very busy lol I'm pretty sure I'll open up my VP services in the summer, kind of miss training for others.<br><br>

    <br><br>:O I came close on taking a lifeguard course last year, but didn't since I went home to my parents. They make a decent amount of money XD And sweet!! :] what kind of club trip?

    <br><br><br>Oooo, that does sound exciting! :O Want to switch? lol jk XD My mom thinks it might be depression or something, because he got extremely attached to me when I stayed at my parent's place for the summer. My mom said that he would wait by the door in hopes that I come back, he even ate a piece of the rug (which he has never done before, and he's 7 years old), he just had like no will to continue going, he would barely eat, he didn't even bark (he always barks when he hears the neighbor's kids running and yelling outside, then towards the end of the week my brother watched my dog have a seizure. That was the worst phone call that I ever got. It affected me so much that I had the worst panic attack ever, to the point were I didn't even have the energy to get up. And when I tried to get up, I would get very dizzy and feel like I was going to faint. I guess my dog and I are just too very attached to one another.
