If you don't play the game anymore, why is it an issue for you?

Anyone is able to post in the Update Suggestions thread. Several of the same ideas are already in there, so continually posting the same idea, or bringing up ideas, has no purpose. Players can always search through old posts to see if their idea has been suggested before. It's not as though we completely remove the posts.

Chances are, if a suggestion has died for several months, it is because nobody felt it was strong enough to actually want. If it's something they feel strongly about, again, they can post it in the Update Suggestions. Posting individual threads is merely for a yay/nay or idea type 'let's get it out there and see what they think'. If they really want it to stick around, they should post it in a thread where it isn't going to disappear anyway.

Players will not understand the difference between a post in one section over another. Bringing up old posts is annoying to almost every player on the site. A thread dies for a reason.

I won't comment on the forums anymore then. I still like to see nice updates and that people are heard and everything. I guess I'll just stop coming on the forums completely and such.

I feel like I can't contribute at all anywhere with anything anymore. I just didn't see why they had to be locked. Not all suggestions that hadn't been posted in awhile are bad or not as wanted. Chances are just too much time passed by. I'm not going to bother coming up with a full response xD
