Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry?

Hey peoples! Alright so my math teacher recomended some books: When my Name was Keoko, Roll of Thunder hear my cry, and the watsons go to birmingham (sorry about spelling). So I bought Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry, and before I read it, have you guys heard of it, or any of the books I mentioned? That's all I have to say, so yea... I'd love to hear from you guys!
