Shelby(: - update

Haven't really been on lately because of this little bundle of joy :3

<img src="http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/s720x720/423334_2783161184785_1430892910_32053028_1252319384_n.jpg"; alt="http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/s720x720/423334_2783161184785_1430892910_32053028_1252319384_n.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

<img src="http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/418509_2767053062092_1430892910_32044809_1929922714_n.jpg"; alt="http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/418509_2767053062092_1430892910_32044809_1929922714_n.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

<img src="http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/558035_2910887377860_1430892910_32109962_65855221_n.jpg"; alt="http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/558035_2910887377860_1430892910_32109962_65855221_n.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

I need better pictures of her! All I have are videos. We have an older shepherd, Max, and she just terrorizes him. Constantly grabs his toys, food, drinks his water, makes herself at home on his bed, and has an obsession with sticking her whole face in his mouth while he's yawning or licking his ear. All of her toys have to LOUD and very squeaky, or she loses interest.

And it's weird how different the two dogs are. Max is so mellow and easy-going (I regularly terrorize him and pull his ears and stuff) and he just lays there and takes it. He won't even bite my hand when I offer it to him, so I'd trust him with a baby. Shelby, on the other hand, is a feisty little girl. She wants things her way, she insists on getting all the attention, and she has a habit for eating rocks and poop when nobody's looking.

The only bad thing is that the shelter apparently had her checked out and she received a clean bill of health, but two days later, our vet detected two different kinds of parasites in her and she just finally took her first solid poop in weeks, so she's getting better after all the medication. Also, she's never been walked on a leash and thinks all cars are torture devices, so we're slowly trying to teach her that they're both enjoyable things.

Just wanted to share :P

She probably was fine at the shelter, but parasites can lay dormant in an animals system, and the stress of relocating can upset their immune system and cause parasite flare ups. It's annoying, but part of why any newly acquired animal should go see a vet asap. She's beautiful, btw. :)

 • She's really cute, hope she does well with you, and that you manage to get her to be less freaked out by the cars and leash :D

 • Thanks guys(:
Yeah, she's fine now, but our other dog got the parasites from her so now he's the one on antibiotics /:

When we first got her, her one left ear tip was bent backwards and both ears were straight up, and now it reversed so that the right one is floppy and the left is straight. She's adorable.
