Okay...I have seen all the movies, and I just finished the first book. I just decided to read it, and finished it in 2 days. I don't really know if I liked it or not though...I'm kind of confused with myself. Like, I read it all day, not able to put it down, but at some parts I thought it was a a little dumb, lol. I liked the end, though, so I'm going to read New Moon. Has anyone else read Twilight?

I have! I read the books before the movies came out, and was a huge fan. There were a few parts that were a little cliche throughout the series, but for the most part I really enjoyed them! I used to be obsessed, haha. If I were you, I'd read New Moon also. c:

Everyone knows I love Twilight. O.o Which is strange, as I prefer the more complicated stories, and Twilight is child's play compared to other series that I have read. But I'm addicted to it for some reason, I used to be obsessed. xD After I read the entire series for the third time I decided to give myself a break though. : ) I would definitely advise you to read all four books, then watch the movies and complain about how the books are so much better.

Exactly. The books will always be a reminder of how awesome the movies COULD HAVE been, but just.... weren't. -...-

This happens with a lot of series. But Twilight books are better than the movies...

I do like the movies. I feel like when I read the book, it reminded me of some of the things that happened in the movie.

I have read and own all four books, plus the Bree Tanner book. Breaking Dawn is my favorite of the series - by far - but I know a lot of people didn't like it. New Moon is my least favorite of the books and movies. I think the movies are horrible! They could of pick much better actors. Rob is a terrible Edward and I don't think he's very attractive at all. Needless to say, again Breaking Dawn part 1 is my favorite of the movies thus far. I cannot wait for part 2!

I just raided my bookshelf trying to find my Bree Tanner book, and then I remembered I borrowed it. hahahaha I do want to get it though, her friend in that book who takes her to the cave or wherever sounded really awesome. I agree about BD, I like it the most, I think because of how many new Vampires are brought into the stories, and their abilities! GARRETT FTW. ;D Eclipse would be my 2nd favourite, I like New Moon least of all, and Twilight isn't bad. The only actors I like for all of the movies are Charlie, Esme, Carlisle and Alice; I think they play their parts well. I was going to hire BD P1 today, but I decided to wait until P2 comes out. xD

Breaking Dawn is my favorite too. xD I never really had a problem with Robert playing Edward. I think, as a vampire and when in make up, he's gorgeous.

And he plays his part well. Taylor Lautner is the one I have a problem with. In the books Jake is so tall, and rough-ish. I was expecting him to be portrayed well in the movies, but in my opinion, their choice was little better then a fail. Taylor is short and squat looking to me. When it comes to the other actors, Emmet = Yum, Alice = Favorite, The wolf pack = Adorable (excluding Leah Clearwater), Carlisle = Perfect, and everyone else I just tolerate or am indifferent to. xD I also read the book that takes Twilight and puts it in Edward's perspective. It was cool to see his view on things, and it solved the mystery of what the heck he does when he goes/went missing, or when he's not with Bella.

I definitely thought the actress for Alice was great! And I also liked Carlisle, Esme, Charlie, Bella's mom, and um.. Rosalie. I was fine with all those actors. But I felt like Rob and Kristen weren't the right ones.

I'd be fine with Kristen if she'd had better acting, because to me she resembled the Bella I had in my head. Kind of? XD But Rob. O_O I haven't seen the first BD, but I probably will sometime soon. xD Twilight was my favorite (I tend to like the first book of a series the best), and my least favorite was New Moon, [spoilers! if it matters] because Edward was gone and I wasn't a fan of Jacob, haha. Plus Bella was really affected by Edward's absence. That was sad. D; I'll probably get to reading these books again soon... I've forgotten a lot, haha!

Agreed. Breaking Dawn, Eclipse, Twilight, and then New Moon in that order of likes. I read Breaking Dawn in four days! That's the longest book I've ever read and it was done in such a short time! I was quite proud of myself! I love Charlie in the movies but he's not really what I pictured him to look like. I'm pretty sure the book Charlie was fat and had curly hair, correct me if I'm wrong.

The actors for Carlisle & Alice were by far the best. I know so well what you mean by Kristen, she looks the part, but she just can't act at all. I didn't like Taylor playing Jacob at all, he has a weird face, and no way is he what I was expecting when I read the books. My Jacob in my head is so much better. New Moon was just terrible, and my fiance calls it filler. Though the book New Moon was definitely better and i sometimes feel like they left too much out of the movie. Esme, Bella's mom, charlie & Rosalie were okay, not quite what I was expecting but still good enough. Personally I don't have a problem with Rob playing Edward though my friend did point out that he has a square face from the side view. Which put me off him
