Some news on some dogs:
Nessie
As some of you may know, I have a blue pitbull named Nessie. She lives in Alabama on one of my ranches. Well, the other day she was shot. Animal control was called for a stray in the area. Now, it wasn't Nessie. Our land is fenced in. Well the guy came, and he claims Nessie was "viscious" and shot her once with a shotgun. ON OUR PROPERTY. Nessie is probably the most submissive dog you'll ever meet; she rolls on her stomach when anyone approches her. Anyways, the guy shot her, then just left. My aunt got her to the vet, and she's fine now. She is all doped up on meds, but she should be healed soon. You can most definantly BET we're sueing the state!

Mortimer
I'm sad to say my rat terrier has had cancer for quite a while now. The vets have already told us to put him down, but he's still active, so we're going to wait until he can't humanely live. He's skin and bone and it kills me to see him everyday. I hate to say it, but sometimes I just wish he'd die in his sleep and get through the suffering. I've been taking him on short 15minute walks to make sure he stays fit so he stays healthy. We've also been giving him soft food and letting him in the house. Is there anymore we can do to make him comfertable? Should I stop taking him on walks?

My last dog died of cancer. We also fed her soft foods, most of which was people's food because she no longer at dog food. Where does your dog have cancer? You probably already do this, but I'd suggest a comfy bed. :3 The walks sound okay to me, but I'd just take them slow and pick up Mortimer and bring him home if he's having trouble. It's horrible to have a pet with cancer. D: Best of luck! :)
