So I'm super broke and my mom is driving me absolutely INSANE.. I've put in applications everywhere and so has my boyfriend, but still nothing.. What would be some GREAT ideas to make some extra cash? I can possibly get my sister-in-law to help me out on these ideas as she is a stay at home wife. So what ideas do you guys have? I really need the help.. I still don't have internet and I'm super shocked I have this pulled up on my phone.. any ideas would be awesome guys!! I'm up for ANYTHING right now <3

  • Pet Sitting/Dog Walking? I did that for a little while and made $150 my first pet sitting job, which to me is a good chunk of mula.

  • Babysitting for rich people. xD I did this a few times and made 100+ in four hours.
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • Sometimes it just takes patience.. I was unemployed for almost 5 months and I couldn't tell you how many applications I filled out before I started working my current job. You need to fill out the application, and make a call back a couple days later. If they tell you they'll call you in a couple of days, you call them in a couple of days. You have to be persistent so that they know you really want the job. It's really frustrating, and with how the economy is, it's extremely hard for young people to find part time work, because most places will hire an adult in line before a teenager because they have families and overall need the job more than a kid does.

As far as making money and not having an actual job goes, babysitting is probably the way to go. I know most parents will pay $10+ an hour for babysitting. I nannied for a family over the summer and made $250 a week for 4 days of work, and that's tax free. There's actually a website you can make a profile on and they can send you emails about people looking for babysitters or nannies in your area.

There's not really any 'easy' or 'fast' way to make money, because well, you have to earn money. I work my ass off for the little bit of money I make. So your best bet is probably going to be just filling out applications and making call backs and being persistent.

  • I agree sea. I call the places at least once a week to ask bout my applications. I would babysit but.. I strongly dislike children lol to the point of wishing I could lock them in a closet to shut them up (I never really would but that's how I feel about them) my sister-in-law are going to start making candle baskets and stuff. I've done it before so I know how. Eventually we want to start our own bakery/candle/gift shop xD I Just need extra ideas of What we can sell or do to go with the candles
  • sea, what is that website for those babysitting jobs/nannies????? i need to knoooooow ASAP XD
  • You could sell home-made candle holders, buy a cheap glass (like 50p or cents or whatever you use over there and then get some cheap permanent pens or paint and sell them with the candles for like £3.50 or something) good way to make profit :D

You could even make the candle holders to order so they are more personalised and charge them at around £5.00 :D
