Novice and Sponsor

When my account was a sponsor I was looked at as equal. Now that I'm no longer a sponsor everything I get back is explaining the game, and I'm like.. "I've known that since 2007." :roll:

Things have changed since 2007 so... they might just be trying to help... I also feel like you left something out of your vent like. I'm not a sponser so all I get is this is how you play back? What were you after in the first place?

They probably just want to be careful because unfortunatly it doesn't say how long you've been playing, so they might just assume you're new.

In addition I no longer have a layout. I personally was always uneasy around novice players with crazy layouts or no layout.

It's not your fault, nor is it other sponsor's faults. A lot of the novices around are..we'll leave it at "ignorant". Most of us (sponsor or not) are very friendly and constantly offer help. It's the polite thing to do to say thank you and you appreciate their concern and willingness to help, but you already know what you're doing and just came back from a break. No harm done, and everyone stays happy. No point in getting upset about others wanting to help someone else out. Like Wheaty said, no one knows how long you've been playing, unless you posted an introduction stating whatever, no one knows anything, none of us are mind-readers (except Ana..but that's because she's weird, hehe). And, a lot has changed since '07. I know I was even asking others that continued to play during my hiatus, because even though it may not seem like it, a pretty good amount of the game has changed; be it new game implements (super groom), bug fixes, etc.

I dislike that as well. I don't understand why someone would feel the need to explain the whole game to me when they know nothing about how long I've been playing or who I am, and I didn't even ask for help. I politely tell them I don't need tips... but it would be nice if people would wait until I asked a question before writing me a paragraph on what to do. I know they're just being nice, but it can get annoying when it happens a lot. Anyway, I understand what you mean. It doesn't really look like you're super upset or anything, so I don't know why people are commenting so seriously. Good luck with getting 'restarted'.

In my experience if I notice a 'new' player and i do a service or something for them i ask if they are new and if they say like that they are new i ask if they need any help rather than just assuming always much better way of doing things
