• He also needed someone to love him and I think you are giving him exactly what he needs. :mrgreen:
 • Ooh, trick horses are still pretty awesome! And if he's clever, why not? You could try teaching him to count, but I've only heard of it once or twice. There was a horse who could do math, his owner would say,
"What's 2+2?"
And then the horse would paw the ground 4 times. He did other equations, too. Turns out, though, that the horse was just really good with body language. The man would tense up and relax when the horse got to the right amount, so he stopped. Pretty cool, huh? That horse had to be really in tune with his owner.

 • Here's a quick update!

Ro is doing much better today. He is on some medication that is helping him control his muscles and stop the pinched nerve from effecting him. He is walking fine and I even saw him trot around a bit today. The vet said he was fine to be turned out and to let him move around at will, but if he gets too frisky (which he isn't xP he's too lazy!) to turn him out with a couple other quiet horses.

Here's a quick update video
<a href="http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/?action=view¤t=100_5490.mp4"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69 ... 0_5490.mp4
You also get to see my Knip xP

and here's a random clip I took earlier today featuring my arabian Georgia and some of the other horses on our farm that I don't own.

<a href="http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/?action=view¤t=100_5489.mp4"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://s219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69 ... 0_5489.mp4

Thank you ^.^
He's doing much better today as well. His medication is helping a lot and we're starting his physical therapy this weekend.

Oh thanks! Haha, you're not the first one to say they love our paddocks. We have a few small ones that are very pretty :)

 • Sorry I haven't updated this in a while!
I've been on vacation the past two weeks and it's been SCORCHING hot the past few days.
Romeo is doing wonderful and seems to be recovered from his injury scare. He has met with the new foal, Sammy, and is curious and watchful of him. I'll update with new picture later this week as I have a lot to do and catch up on.

 • I wanna see a picture of the pretty boy!!!!!!
 • Well...I did it. Today I got on Romeo for the first time ever.
Not sure why I picked today...not sure why I did it without thinking, but I did it.
He was being especially good during the normal training I do with him daily and my trainer was there. She said "What are you thinking, kid?" and I just nodded and that was it.
She gave me a leg up and I was on my stomach laying over him. He didn't even flinch! He was more concerned about getting back to his food. I felt comfortable so I swung my leg over and sat up. It was an AMAZING feeling to finally be up on him. He turned and nudged my foot a little, then proceeded to sigh and drop his head. We did a couple circles with me on him then I hopped off and let him eat. I was kind of in shock considering I wasn't planning on doing that at all today.
I consider this his first step of being broke. I can sit on him and walk in a circle without him panicking or getting nervous.
I love his horse, so, so, SO much!

So here he is!
You can see how much his physique has improved. He's built muscle and rounded out nicely :) His coat is now super soft, shiny, and healthy ^.^

<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5549.jpg"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5549.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5551.jpg"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5551.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5552.jpg"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5552.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5553.jpg"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/100_5553.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
It was rather spontaneous haha I had no intention of even trying to get on him today, let alone walk in circles. He was amazing though and I'm glad I listened to whatever instinct it was that told me to get on him and just do it ^.^

Im jelous! I always wanted a pony! My first horse was a greenbroke 16.3 hh mustang cross that had HORRIBLE seperation anxiety and bucked like a bronc if you even TRIED to get him into a lope.....
 • When I first started riding about 7 years ago when I was like 5 and a half or six I was on a 15.4 qh. xD then I was on a little grey welsh named Chloe. :D
 • I was ten. WORST horse EVER for a child! Ive fallen off of him more than any other horse in the world but let me tell you... bareback.. he is like floating on air! He easily weights 1500 lbs. Ive only been riding for 4 years. I went from him... then because of a riding accident on him i had surgery on my back and my mom didnt want me to get thrown off him and hurt my back worse i was put on the lovely Mrs. Tawny. solid paint with the hottest meanest bloodlines you could imagine but she is the best kids horse. If your tense she will not go at all but if she can tell you are comfortable she doesnt even need to be asked. Then once we got about as far as we could riding we split up and my neice takes lessons on her and i bought a retraining project, my lovely Miss Rosie. my AQHA. She's a handful but she's honest and can do a hard days work.
 • Okay, well here are my first ponies since we got on that subject...but I want to keep this post about Romeo so I don't want to get too sidetracked xP

<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/champscan.png"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/champscan.png"; class="bb-image" />
<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/a01g.png"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/a01g.png"; class="bb-image" />

<img src="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/a01h.png"; alt="http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc69/Quiggles_101/a01h.png"; class="bb-image" />
