Grrr so doing this speech I have to do on Puppy mills has me fired up! I knew about puppy mills but doing all this research is it is just making me extremely mad! How can human beings be so cruel! Gahhh I don't understand it...Oh and I am just looking around HSUS's website and what do you know on there front page it shows a video about investigations in 2 huge pork suppliers... This video literally made me sick.. Grrrr How HOW! <br>(deep breaths)..End of rant. But I still feel all fired up.

    My family got our first dog from a puppy store. We couldn't help it, we just couldn't leave him there when he looked SO sad. We got him, and all the health problems that came with him, then sued the store for giving us a defect and put them out of business. It definitely is sad how puppy mills work. Females are used as baby making machines, forced to have litter after litter after litter, while the puppies are basically tortured to. Ever walk into a puppy store and see the wire floors the puppies are forced to sleep/play on? Most of them are to scared to play anyway, and the cages are so small they can barely move. I've even seen puppies being fed ADULT food, huge, hard pieces, when they've just barely been weened and can hardly chew. Because of this the puppies starve, and die. What i've seen isn't even close to how bad it is behind the scenes though. It's terrible. However, i'm glad you have an oppurtunity to speak out about this. Good luck.

    i got my pup on line with family she looked cute we could not help it we got her she started to get sick later on uncureable and <span style="font-size:150">almost</span>died shes here though :mrgreen: she alive still because a vet saved her she went through tests everything etc........ now she's here she has to be on little meds but she's alive!thats her story:Sweety, life or death? life!but we did not find out she as from a puppy mill untill.... it was out on the internet so heads up dont buy a pup from online also there were storys of a dog who died 3days later etc its so sad! so bye and good luck 8)
