Finnick Odair Banner Contest! ENDED
Any of you who have discussed the wonderful topic of The Hunger Games with me would know that I have a small obsession (just a small one) with Finnick Odair. I won't say much about him, as not to spoil anything.. But, I was reading reviews on the books last night, and somebody described Collin's side characters, especially Finnick, as unforgettable. I couldn't agree more! Finnick has been on my mind since I finished the books a week ago... I thought I'd gotten over it, but today I had this idea.. A banner idea! I can be very picky about my banners, so instead of spending 2 mill going to different artists, trying to get it right, I figure it's easier ust to hold this contest and give one artist the 2 mill. <br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Rules</span><br>- You may enter up to 3 times<br>- Please be considerate of other people's work, don't put it down<br>- Make sure the pictures you use are copyright free or you have explicit permission from the owner(s), do not steal! <br>- Banner needs to be within forums size, however I prefer 400x150<br>- Must be your work<br>- There will be one winner, no second and third<br>- All entries are appreciated! Do not be a bad sport if you don't win!<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Specifics</span><br>I understand that Finnick is a fictional character (sadly..), so I will not be asking you to find a look alike, that can be extensive and is a casting director's job. XD For pictures, I'm thinking more along the lines of:<br>- The ocean<br>- A trident <br>- The Mockingjay pin<br>I'd love to see all three in the banner, but it is not necessary. Those of you who know Finnick Odair may put your own spin on it if you think of something. <br>-For color schemes, sea green, and blues would be awesome <br>Text: The Famous Finnick Odair<br>Subtext: "Do you find this.. Distracting?"<br>Text Color: Dark red or the previously mentioned blue<br>No specific fonts, but nothing girly or elegant!<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Prizes</span><br>As previously stated, 1st place will receive 2 mill and there will be no other placings! However, if there are a few exceptional banners, I will still choose one, but may offer to buy another.<br><br>All entries are greatly appreciated! I cannot wait to see people's work! Feel free to post any questions you might have.
