Kinda made me dizzy too. XD<br><br>I was disappointed with them leaving out some parts, like you guys said, but overall looooooved it. Probably because it was the Hunger Games.. So how can you not love it? ;D
I saw the movie on saturday and my mom screamed when the wild dog came out of nowhere. She scared me half to death man. My little brother had a nightmare last night of him getting eatten by a wild dog and then he resurrected and was Peeta. Strange things going on in his head. I agree with frost. Too many close ups! Can't really see what is going on. Still pretty good overall. If any of you noticed On your I phone or Touch, Go to the app store, go to top free. Bam. Hunger Games Girl on fire #2 game. You need iOS 5. Anyways, I Liked Effie's Pale white face. I Imagined Haymitch To not look like the wrester Triple H. (Look him up. My brother is OBSESSED with WWE.)
<br><br>Apparently this is because to keep it PG13, they had to hide gruesome parts of the deaths so they had the cameras close up and very shaky. It really made me dizzy and kind of irritated that I couldn't see what was happening. xD
<br><br>Yeah, I figured that. XD But in the beginning, in District 12 there was no need for the close ups and shaking.. Really no content there.<br><br>There is one thing I'm really NOT happy about.. But I might be considered a spoiler, so..
What do you guys think of my new siggy?<br><br>Lele(twloha) deserves the credit. She is an absolute genius. Look at this thing.<br><br><span style="font-size:85">yolo</span>
I haven't read the books. My husband wanted to go watch the movie Friday so we I went. I thought it was fairly good. I was glad they didn't show the bloody parts or how exactly some of the kids were killed. I hate stuff like that. I can read it but not watch it. I was able to keep my eyes open the entire movie. I told my mom that it's safe for my siblings to watch. <br><br>The only thing I really wish I knew more about or that they had shown was Katniss's relationship with the dark haired guy. I had no idea what was going on there.
My mom complained non stop about the shakey filming, it was driving her crazy. Plus we were RIGHT next to the screen (terrible seats), so it gave use both headaches.. but the fact that every non-shakey scene was great made everything okay. : ) Remember, I haven't read the books, so everything came as a surprise to me. I didn't know what was happening and the whole time I was just thinking "<span style="font-weight:bold">Oh no... oh no... one of them isn't going to be allowed to live... which one?? OH NO!!!!</span>" The fact that the characters in the movie are so likeable makes it upsetting to know what will happen. I don't think I'll read the books until I've watched all the movies though, it makes the movies more surprising / exciting for me.<br><br>And I wanted to know what was going on with Gale too!!
I saw it yesterday with my fiancé who i have to say was like 'It's going to be rubbish... its going to be rubbish' but he went anyway and enjoyed it... silly man. But i have to say, i absolutely loved it... was pretty good, surprisingly I found nothing too wrong with it, and considering i've read the books it really surprised me. As with Twilight & Harry Potter and things like that, that I have read and watched there has always been something wrong.
I -still- haven't seen the movie! But in the book I had to keep telling myself "Don't get too attached to the characters, they're all going to die." I almost passed out at the part with the berries in the end

I just finished Catching Fire. My friend told me I would hate the ending. I have a love/hate relationship with it. lol Getting ready to start Mockingjay.
I agree with Sage. I hated when they left out some MAJOR parts like when peeta gave Katniss the bread, They showed that after you stop wondering. I was like, WTH. If you haven't read the books then it is really Confusing. <br><br><br><br><span style="font-size:50">Team Gale </span>
I wasn't confused at all. O.o<br><br>Yeah, I don't know every single detail, but according to a friend of mine who's absolutely obsessed with the series, I understand the important parts and get the gist of the story. xD The movie was 'reader <span style="font-weight:bold">and </span>non-reader friendly' in my opinion. And stop with the teams, that's Twilight's thing you thiefz! xD
Mmm.. Same here. But anyway! <br><br>The count is in! THG brought in 150 million on the first weekend alone, while the first Twilight movie brought in 193 million in a week.<br><br>Catching Fire comes out November 22nd, 2013. They plan to begin filming late Summer/early fall of this year. SO. We'll know who our Finnick is shortly! They also think Catching Fire will get a larger budget than The Hunger Games did.<br><br>-obsessed-
So it comes out about a week after Breaking Dawn Part Two.. which is supposed to be the biggest movie in the series. I think they're gonna be pretty close in numbers. xD I don't really like to compare the two (story wise). I saw someone try to do that today and they were nearly murdered by the Hunger Games and Twilight fans at my school. -__- It's ridiculous. And about the whole picking teams thing, I don't understand why people do that when, atleast to me, it's pretty obvious who gets the girl... in both Twilight and THG.. it's predictable IMO.

<br><br>They're a year apart. Breaking Dawn comes out this year. Catching Fire, next year.
Just started Catching Fire today  Tis amazingness<br><br>And I don't really like the whole teams thing as well. Mostly because I can't pick a team, I love them all! <span style="font-size:50">Except Jacob. Sorry girls, he's hot but does his skin glitter like a thousand diamonds?</span> I can find something to like about all the characters though.

<br><br>Jeeze, a whole year!!!? ... actually that makes sense. I missed the 20<span style="font-weight:bold">13</span> part. xD

<br><br><br>I think they did miss out some "major" stuff, but I'm sure they did it to get my country to buy the books, since the books only came out about 3months before the movie over here. And most people want to see the film here but didn't even know that it was a series until I told them. I prefer things where they leave you questioning stuff cause it means I can go out, buy the book and find out more.
It comes out within 20 months of the first one, to be.. Obsessed. XD Filming starts in roughly 5-6 months.<br><br><span style="font-size:50">Imma nerd.</span>

<br><br>The movie didn't leave me with questions that would force me to buy the book. I just asked a bunch of people if it was a good representation of the book and they all said yes. Like I said, I don't know every. single. detail., so I cant go into super in-depth discussions with anyone, but what I saw / will see in the movie(s) are good enough for me. xD Perhaps after Catching Fire comes out my obsession will grow to the size of everyone else's, and I'll actually get the series.. until then, nobody that I personally know has told me the movie wasn't good enough for someone that is only interested in knowing what is absolutely necessary. Also, Suzanne Collins wrote the script for the movie, which means that what she thought was important was in there. If the scenes in the movie are what's important to her, they're all I need. xD <br><br>@ Frostbight - I was exactly the same way with Twilight. We are both nerdehs. O_O
Yea bits of it my fiance was like asking me questions (that happened like twice) so not really that important if its only 2 little things and one thing was like... its kinda already said that... lol
I <span style="font-weight:bold">cannot</span> watch movies with my guy.. we have completely different taste, and he refuses to sit through a movie that is obviously going to be horrible (based on the beginning). In fact, I had to watch Twilight in a theater twice, because the first time I went with him he wanted to leave by the middle of the movie, I said no, and he <span style="font-weight:bold">picked me up, threw me over his shoulder, and walked us out.</span> Im not embarrassed easily, so when he did that and everyone looked at us I said "byeeeee!!!" and waved like a giddy child. Everyone started laughing, and I made him pay for us to go again after holding a fake grudge all day. <br><br>One thing I cannot stand is when people ask me questions during a movie that we are BOTH seeing for the first time. During THG my mother kept asking me random questions and I was like, "Were watching the SAME movie, ma, I don't know anymore then you do!!"
Haha, I have this horrible habit of making comments.. So my poor stepsister I kept whispering to her pointless things during the movie. One of the things I said was,<br>"I think that heroic death deserves some applause."<br>When the District 4 tribute died.
Haha frosty thats so funny, and i think i annoyed my guy cause instead of giving short answers i went into detail and he was like 'right ok' and turned away and carried on watching the movie... lol
When Katniss volunteered everyone in the movie started clapping. There was a huge applause at the revenge of Rue as well. It was kinda... awkward. Like, some of the people believed they were actually watching THG live. -_-
haha thats soo funny, and my guy was like 'well that was brutal' at the revenge of Rue. I'm in love with Rue as a character she's so cute. And that would be awkward we didn't have that in my theatre we just had a bunch of people watching and when it was over some people near us where like 'Shall we go now' and it was like... its over you should go...
