I had one disappointment, but that was a line that wasn't said. Everything else was just.. fantastically done. ;D

  • A friend and I went to dinner, and she talked NON-STOP about the books the WHOLE time. So, I told her I'd go see it with her if she paid for me and bought me all the theatre foodz. :D She though that was a deal! I didn't notice anything wrong... because I still haven't even started the books! xD Good movie. Even if you know nothing about it beforehand. I got to see it for free too. I'm such a moocher..
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • So that's how I ended up training all your dogs! *shakes fist*

1 hour 58 minuets!

  • 1 Hour!!! Not that I get to go ='( My daddy wouldn't let me go with my friend and her brother =P

  • I get to go with my friend tomorrow. Then I might see it again with wetnose101!

  • Well, turns out I'm going tomorrow at 9:30 PM. I'm really excited.
Even if I end up absolutely loving it, I don't think I'd be able to watch it again so soon afterwards like some of you have planned. xD
  • Only two things really bothered me, both things that weren't understandably removed or changed for any good reason I could think of. Overall it was incredible though:) I really loved it. And Rue's scene had me all choked up.

  • I loved it!!! The only major thing for me is really very minor, a detail they couldn't fit in.

  • I had an issue with the absence of Madge, and where Katniss got the Mockingjay pin. Because I feel like if they're planning on making a movie for Catching Fire, they're going to have to leave out some details because of the pin.

  • I got home about half an hour ago. I was disappointed for the most part. I guess my expectations were too high.
  • Oh noz. O.o
That's the worst... when you come home disappointed. Tis' how I felt after watching Twilight. xD

If I had read the books my critique probably would've been harsher as well. When I read a book and love it, I usually become excited and expect the world of the movie too. You aren't supposed to do that apparently. ^…^
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • I'm told that if I watch it again, I may be more welcoming of the movie version. I suppose that is true.
  • I got back like 15 minutes ago and LOVED it. I went with some friends and so the two and a half hour wait wasn't too bad. XD

I thought it was perfect. The mutts were.. Too different for me, but other than that I thought it was amazing. Every part of it.

Especially the parts with Peeta. <3
  • Glad y'all liked it(: I get to go see it this coming up week with my friend and her sister and my sister and our moms haha. We all read the book.

  • I'm going to see it at one. But we're meeting there at 12:30 so we can get good seats!

  • Holy man, people started lining up for the early show at 12:00 PM and the movie doesn't start until 7:00 PM. That's crazy!
  • Where I live there's a theater on almost every block, so the lines were extremely short, as always. I got a good crowd though. I love watching movies in a room full of enthusiastic people. It makes everything more fun. :D The only annoying thing was the cooing girls that sat behind me.. with their high pitched squeals and, "I love Peeta" t-shirts. -__-
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • Haha... I just came home from watching it-pretty good!

Oh I hate when the you just want to slap the person next to you! I actually watch preview thank you very much stop talking! Ans she kept fiddling with her phone, making it turn on so there was a flash of light. On top of all that she farted half way through :/ I was about to ask her to exit the theater.

  • I told my boyfriend that I wanted to go and see it. He said o...ok... he's not big into movies.

And we kinda left it at that. Then he goes out with his friend and later that night he texts me. The Hunger Games is sold out this weekend.

I mean it wasn't a good thing to hear but I was really happy that he had looked it up for me...because it's not a guy thing. So we have out nightly call and talk I told him how I loved the fact that he at least looked into the Hunger Games.

He's like I didn't look babe, my friends girlfriend wanted to go so he looked it up while we were hanging out and so I just thought I'd tell you.

I still want to go see the Hunger Games

  • I went and it was fantastic. Very similar to the book, few things omitted for (overall) good reason, but almost exactly how I imagined the characters and scenes.
  • Peeta is so adorable... in ALL of his scenes. xD

Oh noz, I'm turning into one of youz.

But really... I've been a fan of Josh Hutcherson since before RV and Bridge To Terabithia. I knew he would be awesome in this movie. A little clingy creepy at times but I liked him still. xD

Why is that a bad thing? XD
  • I loved Josh Hutcherson once I saw Bridge to Terabithia. I also loved him when he was young in the movie Little Manhattan, that was where I first started liking him in movies. :]

Me too! He was so adorable as a kid.. not annoying, like most of the other kids I see in movies. -__- He's just a great actor. I wish my parents had moved us to L.A. when I was a kid, just to persue MY dream of becoming an actress. :/

And it's not a bad thing I'm becoming 'one of youz', its just something I didn't expect... like my obsession with Twilight. O.o

  • I saw the movie last night! I spent the whole night processing whether or not I liked it. Verdict is?
I LOVED it.. But ah, I am slightly disappointed if that makes sense.. They left out a TON and a few very major things. Not to mention the camera work was so shaky!
    FrostBite_zpsab645aba.png
  • Going to see it today <3 CANNOT WAIT! :)

I agree with these statements! They were very vague in describing certain things like how District 13 isn't there and what a tesserae is. So unless you read the book the viewer isn't aware of a lot of things.
  • Not to mention the camera work was so shaky!

Apparently this is because to keep it PG13, they had to hide gruesome parts of the deaths so they had the cameras close up and very shaky. It really made me dizzy and kind of irritated that I couldn't see what was happening. xD
