RL money for VPC?

I don't know, but I think It would be a nice idea if we were to be able to buy VPC with RL money. It does have it's pros and cons but I would like to see what other people think of this idea. I know it would add money into the game but couldn't we just raise stakes or something?

    Actually you can - just with a little work. You buy goodies and/or upgrades with rl money then sell them for vpc.

    <br><br>The point behind this is that if people could directly buy money, they would no longer sell off dyes/upgrades - I, for one, wouldn't want that. :)

    I think this has been mentioned a long, long time ago. I think it is a great idea, but it might ruin the VP "economy". The amount of services would probably drop because they can buy VPC, people probably wouldn't event much anymore. And people would probably hoard millions of VPC that could be circulating.

    I personally think it's an awful idea. I personally would be upset if we could just buy VPC. I've been playing this game for almost 8 years and I have saved and saved and earned all of my VPC by training and selling art, and I'd be kinda pissed if people could just buy VPC and not have to work for it. Yea, sure, I could to, but that takes the fun out of the game.

    Actually there's a legal reason behind the fact we cannot sell play cash. As you can bet on dogs in events, adding the option to buy play cash for real money, brings in a whole lot of gambling regulations, etc.
