Rosie Hurt Herself URGH!!

Yes. Rosie (my Red Roan ex barrel racing QH) hurt herself... i was out working with THIS one (Nova. Three year old OTTB) and my mom yelled at me to come quick from the pasture. Rosie hoped the fence and got caught in the barbed wire. We got her out but now, right when i have her ready to start schooling on roll backs and flying lead changes again, she hurts herself.     Eh. O.O<br><br>Is that red stuff on her leg all blood, or betadine or something? :( My old pony Pixie ripped her eyelid open. She flipped out when I was unhooking the cross-ties from her halter, and the clip caught her eye. It made me freak out. O.O<br><br>I'm sorry this happened. :(

    She does have blood coming off her hoof but the wound kot i used on her is purple so it looks funky. And i actually had a show lamb rip her eyelid off O-o terrified me. She ripped it off by sticking her head through a fence and taking it out too quickly

    Oh. :( I hope she gets better! :)<br><br>Ew. I literally would have passed out. I can not handle bloody scenes. It make me sick... which is why I could never ever be a vet or a doctor. XD

    Luckily blood doesnt bother me. I grew up on a mustang whove ive never seen bleed so i usually think horses getting cut are worse than they are haha

    Lol. What REALLY bugs me is when they get those little dots of blood on their legs from the fly bites. I can not stand those! XD

    O-o ive luckily never had those. The worst we get here are bot flies but i despise them!

    We get horse flies all the time over the Summer. I hate those enormous things. XD

    Now we DO have horse flies. My colt is soo funny with em because ive always kept him sprayed off so he doesnt know how to deal with horse flies. I watched him trot in circles for thirty minutes one day before i finally sprayed the poor child

    Aww...lol.<br><br><br>I -love- to spray them with fly spray until they fall to the ground. Then I just spray them till they are dead. It's actually really, really fun. Especially if you are bored. :D

    Ive got pics of her western but i dont like riding her that way very often. I dont like her having that miuch weight on her back
