Another Reason For Me To Hate This Time Of Year?

We had the vet out this morning. So Sadie was due about a month ago, and we didn't really think much about it, because we had another cow go about a month over with her last calf. Well my dad had the vet check. And low and behold Sadie has a mummy calf. I'm not sure what it is, its pretty much the calf was "aborted" but never fully aborted. So now we've given Sadie some shots, and hopefully now she'll fully lose the calf. I just need everything to work out for the best. I really don't need this on top of everything else I deal with this time of year. Anyways this even losing just the calf has been hard. She was confirmed a heifer back in June. I was all excited to show the baby, and now I don't get the chance. Sadie's last calf Sierra died at a month of age, and I was excited to hopefully have a baby Sadie to show. Anyways now I just want things to work out with Sadie so we don't have to get rid of her.<br><br>R.I.P Baby Starlet
