I'm just wondering if what I've heard is in fact true. If a dog has fleas and worms, and those fleas get on a different dog, can the different dog also get worms? Somebody told me that fleas can carry worm eggs. o.o
Strange. xD No problemo. Fleas are scary things. D8 That's why I get upset when people let their dogs become flea infested and then go "Oh, it's no big deal."
Get a sheep xD its the best flea medicine!! xD

(Literally. Fleas get on the sheep fleece and suffocate. Ive never had a flea on my dog since i got my sheep three years ago)
What really annoys me is when people come to visit, and have dogs at home that have fleas, which get on them and then go on my dogs >.< I know it can be expensive to buy flea medicine, but I figure if you can't afford the medicine you shouldn't have the dog.

Wow Vamp, thats really cool! Now, how do I talk my mom into getting a sheep? lol
yes =3 im soo excited for them!

And well... they HAD to let me keep em. They told me i could either buy my ram or they would buy me cows.... little did they know i REALLY wanted a ram.... came home with a calf a few days later LOL! She didnt get sent back either because my mom loves cows.
Haha!! Last time we tried that it didnt work out so well. Lost a best friend x.X

Ive goooot
4 horses (8 as a family)
A cat
2 dogs (3 as a family)
3 Sheep (2 are preggo. Prolly gonna have twins)
3 cows
7 rabbits (One is having babies tonight and another is due in three weeks)
And a buttload of chickens

Im a livestock show breeder xD All animals are bred for a purpose. Horses show, cat is my dads child, dogs work and show (border collies are heaven for sheep breeders!!) Sheep are both Grand Champion and ram is a grand champion producer with offspring at the major shows winning, Cows are meat cows. I sell the babies for monehh, and the rabbits are 60$ rabbits (a piece x.X) but theyre grand champion rabbits. All of the highest quality (got em from a judge so you know theyre good.)
O.O Daaaang! Tis a lot of critters! You're lucky

Oh the $60 rabbit thing reminded me of something, somewhat funny. I was browsing through online animal classfields the other day and happened upon one that went something like this "Mixed breed bunnies for sale, not sure what breeds. $65 each". Who the he...ck would buy that? lol
In the cities its actually fairly common. People who think theyre bunnies are cute because they sell them too early. 60$ is VERY expensive for a rabbit. You can go to shows and get a decent Grand Champion buck for 30$ for a popular breed. Some peopl just think their bunnies are special for some reason. I sell mine for 20$ even though i paid 60$ each for their parents because i havent shown them enough to feel that theyre worth that much. Maybe if i breed grand champion litters for the next few years ill go up 5$ to my price but itll be slow and steady work.
lol!! Most of it goes to feed lol!! Actually not with the rabbits. I spend MAYBE 10$ on feed a month and thats how long it takes rabbits to have a litter, then i get 100$ or so from the litter. But the parents and the cages do cost a bit.
Oh I know what you mean about the cages >.< I used to breed guinea pigs and hamsters, and I priced around for cages, and almost had a heart attack. Then I realized I could just buy used cages and disinfect them (duh to me)
LOL!! Ive done that a lot, then i started having problems with kanker sores (foot sores due to heavy rabbits on thin wire all the time) so i went and had some custom made from the guy i got my rabbits from... plus i got a tattoo pen AND a tattoo box (bless the inventors soul!!) and a buttload of other stuff for him but boy its all soo worth it in the end from a business point of view!
