True Blood/ Twilight Vent/Rant

edited December 2011 in Vent
I just need to let this out, because every time I watch a preview, a movie, a episode I get so mad. I'll start out with the True Blood one.

True Blood (season 4)

Sookie is such a idiot and I'm starting to hate her. Why because, first she still loves bill and its like why would you love someone who paid somebody to beat you to near death, so you can drink his blood. He continued to lie to you, and he just wants to kill Eric for no reason. But I really started to hate Sookie when she told Eric that she loved Bill, when Eric said he loved her. I walked away to cool down because I wanted to punch my computer screen. But she was kind of smart in the dream sequnce when she said something like "It's Bill's blood" it had something to do with her loving her. Then her ultimatum was if i can't have either of you, then I wont have none of you. I walked away again, because she continually makes me so angry. Why do you still love him, he killed your uncle for goodness sake.

Oh kudos to Pam because she hates Sookie to ,I mean Eric was going to give his life for her. Because Sookie's dumb self went into the witches hideout and whatever. I mean does she think things out. Ugh I hate her so much, I kinda wish godric and Eric would have drained her in the dream. Lets change that I hate her.

Twilight/ K. Stew (everything she's ever been in)

Oh where do I start on this rant. I like the twilight books, mainly because theirs more stuff in it and in my version Bella has emotions and feelings, oh and most importantly facial expressions. Like today I went and watched the new Snow White trailer, and I;m like oh this looks great and they have some good people until I seen K. Stew and I'm like their goes the movie. Kind of, because I already know there will be no facial expressions. They could have given that part to someone else, instead of boring no emotion K.Stew.

Then its kinda of creepy because a boy loved you, and after you gave birth to a child he then switched gears. Creepyville. I honestly think they should have killed renseme, the kid is a threat. Kill one save a thousand. Have they not seen Wanted. I mean it seems selfish to me, I know you have to think about the fate of your race than your feelings. I mean Vampires aren't suppose to have feelings or kids. Look at Interview with a vampire, see how having a vampire kid went. And not to mention Bella was just leading Jacob on, she should have ended it when he expressed his feelings toward her. Not be selfish and string him along and let him look st something he can't have. Can you say selfish? Oh but she took care of her mom, blah blah blah. That doesn't mean anything, she is direspectful to her dad. I mean having a boy sneak into your bedroom almost everynight in your dads house without him knowing. I mean did she ever think what her dad would say or feel. No, why. Because she's selfish and doesn't care. And she's mental, "Oh yeah, I'm going to jump of cliffs and get into danger so I could see my ex-boyfriend" It's so dumb. I mean she didn't even know him for that long. What was it half a school year or something. Who would just shut down after their ex-boyfriend leaves. That means she's a clingy stalker. Again she use's Jake, so he can unknowingly help her see her long gone boyfriend.

Then Edward didn't make any sense at all, he just a cry baby "I have no soul and a monster" blah, blah I don't care. Then I don't believe a word he says when he says something like "when you get 90 I'll still love you the same and would still be with you" Psh, yeah right. A 17 year old dating 90 year old hunchback missing teeth old lady, who wears pearls. Would you date her edward, no you wouldn't.

Then in twilight, the movie looks so dreadful and like they don't even wanna be their. Well most of them, because the others take their job seriously. (Sorta). I just hate to see great movie potential turn out to be sucky and a waste of time. For example, The Last Airbender. Don't get me started on that movie and M. Night shamalan. He ruined a movie that could have been gold, hello graphics and CGI should have been top of the line. And get the characters right you just can't switch their names out. And have the right actors to do the job. Let me cool down, that rant will be for another day.

If you read all this, just and FYI your awesome!!

Saddest part about this rant, I own all seasons of True Blood and own the Twilight Sage (including the books).

  • I love Twilight. Loved it since the first book, and always will. But I did laugh when you described the old lady dating Edward. Heh. Funny stuff. You're right about Kristen though. She's gotta liven up the acting thing... like, A LOT. I guess after I read all the books and saw all of the movies and totally fell in love with all that, I got used to her and taught myself to tolerate her acting, but ONLY in the Twilight saga, if I see any other movie preview that includes her I REFUSE to watch it. Hah. And as for Edward, I sometimes wished she would just forget about him and stop leading Jake on / make his dreams come true already! xD I don't think they should have killed Renesmee Carlie Cullen though, LOL, see how I said her whole name there?? -__- Ima loser. Renesmee's birth is the whole point of Breaking Dawn in my opinion. If not for her, no Vampire/Werewolf/Volturi war and almost no drama, gotta love the drama. I have issues with all of the movies though, mainly the fact that they don't even come close to the greatness of the books. 0.0 AND what was up with the werewolf discussion in Breaking Dawn?? It just looked so unrealistic and cartoon/childish to me. A bunch of wolves standing around and growling/barking/howling at eachother? I was cracking up.. I didn't even get half the conversation, they could have atleast made it more... I dunno, realistic-al? Whatever. I saw TWILIGHT in this thread and had to comment. You make good points about everything. It's awesome, since the usual Twilight rant consists of nothing but "Twilight sucks. I hate it. It's dumb and Edward is such a fairy. Don't watch it." -_- I HATE when people do that. So.. yay for you! : )
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • I love twilight, but I agree with the K.S. part. Shes choppy and emotionless in most of her videos, almost like she's scared or something. I also own all the books to Twilight and have all the movies that have come out so far. I don't care for Robert Pattenson either though. I just don't like him as an actor. Though I will admit that he was better in Breaking Dawn than the others. I liked him a TINY bit more in this one.

YAY! Haha, Edwards a fairy, that made me laugh so much. I'm not even going to discuss the sparkly vampires. There Stephanie Myers creation so she has the right to make them how he wants. But it would be better if they burnt in the sunlight. It would be gold, But her vampires are kind of non-disposable. But hey their hers. I haven't even seen breaking dawn, but the way you describe it makes it sound so stupid. I mean subtitles, I guess they want you to use your imagination on what their talking about. And then I'm tired of the Edward Bella staring contest. Again creepy. I hate it when people look at me for a unnatrually long time, but I do understand if your lost in space and you don't know if your staring at somebody. I know because I've dun it. Kinda got off topic but thanks!

  • The werewolf "Meeting" was Sam deciding to kill Bella cause shes pregnnant and Jacob and Seth in the middle whining and saying no. Seth has no choice but to listen but Jacob stands up to him and says he's the rightful alpha and he won't kill her and then he leaves the pack and creates his "own".
  • @ Garnet -I know that. xD (or were you explaining that to Paridise?) -I just didn't like the way it was done. Neither did any of the Twi-hards I went with, I guess it was just a little to 'outside of the box' for us NOT to laugh at the time.

@ Paridise -When Edward stared at Bella in the classroom the first time they sat next to eachother, all of my friends were cracking up. I know it was hard for Edward to control himself but that was just hilarious. If I was in her situation I probably would have slowly scooted farther away from him. Sparkling vampires are a unique mix I guess. Atleast she though it'd be a good twist. I know for a fact that it made her money though. I can't even begin to count how many teens I've seen with the shirt: "I only date guys that sparkle."
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • No, it was to you haha i thought you meant you couldn't like, understand what they were saying during that scene xD haha my bad i miss understood how you meant it. I loved the movie and the ppl i went with did too xD I guess its just difference of opinion from groups haha ive heard so many ppl in love with it and so many hating it xD its crazeh
  • Oh. Well over all we loved it of course. I can't wait till BD2 comes out. It was just that one scene that had me laughing. Other scenes threw me off a little too though. The whole thing was just so much more graphic. Bella played a good dying girl though. It looked so real and icky. And I personally love the scene where Edward freaks out on her after her examination. It was so different then his usual staring self, he actually showed rage and emotion instead of treating her like a fragile glass ornament like he usually does. My eyes went wide on that scene, I was like, did he really just yell?? Heh.

  • I LOVE Pam. She'll always be my favorite. I kind of stopped watching TB though, because it was really, really good for a while and then they introduced fairies and everything into the plot and it just got to be too much. But the first few seasons were amazing, especially Pam.

As for Twilight, meh. I loved the books, literally couldn't put them down or do anything productive till I finished them. Then I heard Kristen Stewart was playing Bella and was just kind of like, meh. But she killed the movies for me. I still haven't seen New Moon and I frankly don't care. I get a little movie in my head every time I read a book and the one I got from New Moon was way better than anything she could act in >.<

Oh I love what Pam said about sookie at the end of season 4. It was the last episode I totally agreed with her. And I would be upset to if my maker that I known for over a 100 years would through his life away from some hybrid fairy princess. Pam makes the show gold! But there is some very good fanfiction out their to lessen my hate on sookie, or just hate her more.

I loved the books to, because you can envision what the characters look like in your mind. I'll probably go see Breaking Dawn, but the whole time I'll be thinking how horrible K.stew is as an actor. She's like a horror movie actor who needs to play in one movie and disappear. Or she needs acting lessons, very very good acting lessons.
