Kindle Fire?

I want a Kindle Fire sooooo bad. I love to read, and I need something that I can carry around with me to entertain me. I wanted to know if there was like any way I could download GIMP onto it? Just wondering. That would be awesome. :D<br><br>Also, can I have opinions? I am hoping I get one for Christmas, but if they aren't good, then I don't. XD

    oh I want one badly just cause I can't put this episode of this show on my iPod cause I bought it via amazon :/<br><br><br>Gimp you cant, otherwise I would've found a way to have it on my iPad but you can have movies and such

    xD ooh ive seen em. Drooled over em... all that good stuff. But ive already got an itouch, laptop, AND kindle so theres no reason to spend money on something that i already have

    My mom just got one.. She actually pre-ordered it. Early Christmas present to herself. I haven't had much time on it, but from what I have seen, it is impressive. I heard it does have bad memory, though. So it is mostly for reading, not a hardcore web browsing machine (neither is my iPod.. Browsing kills the battery). The magazine subscriptions were expensive, along with e-books, but then again, what's new? My mom seems very happy with it, but she says it has a glare outside, making it hard to read and it is a little heavy. You can't lay down and hold it up to read. Other than that, though, it seems really good.

    I hardly ever read books on my kindle. xD The books are pretty expensive. It's faster than my computer, so I use it alot. It does have its weird spells though. I accidently "over charged" mine, and then it got -really- slow. But, overall it's pretty good. I was impressed by all the features, and how they really upgraded since the last kindle.

    I read loads of books on my kindle and I actually managed to get a book on the kindle for £20 cheaper than paper copy, so not too bad. Was an educational book. But i find they can be the same price or slightly cheaper than paper copies but that could just be the uk lol
