IPad 2 as a grafics tablet?

I just got my iPad 2 in the mail

, and was wondering how to do things like line art on it. I don't have a Mac or any apple computer or photo shop if that is needed. Can you use it for as art at all? Would I need a special app? TeeHee I wrote this on my very own iPad 2!!!

I just have the old iPad. As soon as I got it, the iPad 2 came out. Perfect.. XD It would be pretty hard to do lineart and graphics with your finger. You would need do get an app for sure. I have tried several free apps for drawing and things like that- all of them are extremely basic, but still difficult to use. Because again, you have to use your finger! xD

I doubt you could use a stylus on an iPad because of how Apple makes their screens. Most tablets/touch techs are pressure sensitive and you have to use your fingernails/a stylus-type device to use, but Apple products have a glass screen that you have to use the pad of your finger for, and they don't respond to the touch of a fingernail.

Apple has their own stylus that is the same sort of shape as a finger. It's pretty expensive though for one in the shops over here, like £10 for a stylus. which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me and its pretty big.

I thought Apple used heat register for their products? Like I've tried using like soft/round objects and it never works. I always have to use my finger, but if my dog's chin or tail brushes it, it works. So that made me think it was based off of the heat from your fingers/skin haha

ive just looked up about the stylus pen for the ipods and such and it said that the fabric used at the end is designed to feel like human skin, freaky or what

I thought it was by heat too, but it's actually by skin. It's creepy that the stylus is made with something that feels like skin!

amazon sell them, HMV (dont know if you actually have that over there) but they sell them and i think you could possibly get them off apple themselves
