Right so Westlife released a cover of Daughtry's - What About Now, and everyone over here seems to think Westlife's is the original, and Westlifes version of the song seems to be EVERYWHERE and on like every mix CD going. Its really doing my head in since its not the best cover ever, and Daughtry is the best.<br><br><br>OOO but Wham just came on TV

I hadn't heard Westlife's version before until I saw this post of yours. I went and listened to it and to be honest, it hardly sounds different. I'm a big Daughtry fan so I do like his version better (deeper voice [ish] and his just sounds like it has more meaning) but otherwise I could easily listen to either of them and barely notice. I like when artists do covers and alter them to try and make it their own style... but that's just me. :P

I just don't like it cause it seriously has no meaning to them and everyone over here in the UK seems to think its their song, thats what annoys me the most
