Cut It Off!

My hair was getting really long, and I wanted a change. So I cut it all off. We cut almost a foot of curls off my head, and I donated it to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that takes donated hair to make wigs and hair pieces for children with illnesses that may have caused them to lose their hair.<br><br>I got a call from my orthodontist (which is my mom's ex-boss) this morning who saw my picture on a social networking site, and he asked for permission to use my before/after pictures on his website, and he is donating money to Locks of Love on my behalf! <br><br>This was [Edited by staff] of the haircut.<br><br>I've been told I'm a brave soul and that most people wouldn't do this, but I gotta be honest I love my hair. It's so easy to take care of, I just wash it and I don't have to do anything to it. You have to have 10 inches to donate to Locks of Love, and mine was just a little over. It went to a good cause, and I've gotten tons of compliments on my hair. I'm not telling anyone to go chopping their hair off, but if any of you end up cutting a lot off, don't throw it away! Donate it!
