Doc Martens and the Medical Field.

A few weeks ago, I got myself a pair of 1460 Greasy Black Dr. Marten boots. 8 hole. (: So far, they have been my favorite shoe. I have been having issues with one of my toes on my right foot, and wearing any shoe that folds when you walk [tennis shoes, Sperry Top Siders, Converse] hurts it. My Docs don't. (:

Also, I've decided to graduate early next year. I understand a lot of colleges do not like that unless you actually have a reason, and my reason is this: I would rather graduate early, get a job and work while getting a 12-18 week licensure/certificate in the medical field than deal with another allied health class. I love the class.. I hate the people. I'm sorry, but if you think that tonsils are bones and you think that the medical term for what helps blood clot is hemophilia [the inability of blood to clot properly]... I was originally looking at a EMT-Paramedic, but that's an 18-month program, and I just don't have that kind of time on my hands. Other than a CNA, what other medical certs/licenses are there?

 • Honestly? If you're thinking medical field, take a CNA program (can't till you're 18 though) and go get your ASN. it's 2 years, then all it takes is 6 months online to get your BSN. then from there you can specialize and make bank. but nursing is a really good start to anything in the medical field. it gets your foot in the door if you want to go further, and if you decide to stay an RN, they make money too.
