We've all got them, right? I have a couple right now that I'd really like to break. First one, (honestly, it's hitting me right now..) is nasty. I peel the skin off of my finger tips, and no, it isn't dead. It's come to a point where on a few of my fingers, the prints are barely visible, and the skin is tough. I think it's impulsive.. When I'm scared or stressed, it really starts in, I need to pick it. Or just when I'm bored... Makes for nice entertainment. It stopped during the Summer, but when school started back up.. It came back with a vengeance. Today, in class, I picked 3 fingers to the point where they were bleeding a bit. I didn't mean to.. I just can't break the habit, and I know it has to stop.

Next, I pick my lips. Even more impulsive, happens when I'm stressed, rarely for entertainment. Except for when they're chapped (which is frequently..) then I might pick. I've picked till they bleed, too.. Once again, unintentionally.

Anybody else have an unbreakable habit? Or tips on how to break these?
