Soo excited! I got an ex racehorse a few months ago and ive kept in contact with the stable who gave her to me. The lady who owned her has a few other horses and she has a QH colt named Lord Godfry. Weeeell. I was talkin to the owner and she told me that if he keeps winning like he does she's gonna let me breed Rosie (not my ex racer. My ex barrel racer) to him!! And guess what?! He raced last night and WON HIS RACE!! She's getting me some of the winners circle pictures. xD im soo excited for her! He's never ran under a third place and he's got his ROM in racing as a two year old!! Soo once he's retired (will probably be a while. He's only two) ill probably be getting a baby out of him for FREE! Soo excited about that! Cant' afford to race it but i could get one heck of a barrel racer out of the mix!!

    SHes doing good. Still her stubborn self but tomorrow im gonna start workin with a trainer to help me get her where she needs to be to do the queens. Aaaaalso.... I GOT ON NOVA TODAY!!!!!

    She's tall bwa ha ha! Nah. I lunged her under saddle for the first time and she acted like she'd been under a western saddle her entire life. Sooo i got her through all of her gaits and did some saddle desensitizing though she didnt need it and i was working on her flexion in her neck and she was being soo good that i figured i could work on mounting. I put my foot in the stirrup and bounced... nothing. So i stood up in the stirrup... nothing. Soo i went ahead and threw my leg over and wala. On Nova haha! But anyways i hope to be riding her by the end of the week. Tomorrow im gonna get someone to head her around for me and MIGHT work on getting her accepting an o ring snaffle bit to see how she takes it.

    Nice! Babydoll is 16.3 and everyone says shes huge, but I think shes perfect lol. Shes a tall barrel horse but she gets the job done. My friend also used to have a 17 hand Quarter Horse and he was GIGANTOR of the Quarter Horse world lol, and I was thinking of buying a 17 hand Paint.

    I like bigger horses. My first horse was a 16.1 hh sorrel mustang. Rosie is 15.2 at 4 years, and nova is 16.2 at 2 xD Roman is gonna be a huge guy as well. At 6 mo. he was 13.3 hh. I expect him to be atbout 15 hh as a two year old. I like bigger horses just because they have better gaits to me. I rode a friends palimino gelding once and he is 15 hh but he has a big body and little legs and riding him is like riding a pony. He is sooo rough!!

    Lol, I agree. But I rode a Welsh pony (3 of them actually lol) and I formed a FANTASTIC bond with 2 of them, the other one I wasn't around much, and he is sold now.

    xD but Sammy is just a fat old boy with choppy strides. He was fun to ride in a wacky way. Its impossible to sit his trot LOL

    Lol! Nice hahahaha. Im not very good at sitting trots anyhow, I just canter or gallop, or work on my posting trot. xD You should give me points on sitting trots, do you just go like your on a canter? Is that the proper way? LOL, I don't have many questions cause I have Ben to tell me, and plus I DO barrel race xD, but in barrels you dont trot xD
