I'm about to take my Sophie baby in to get spayed. I'm scared. And she's going to cry when I leave her and I probably will too:(

    You'll be okay! I promise and so will she! =D I had to have my baby heaven spayed when she was a puppy and it was hard leaving her there for a few days. They wanted one day for prep. one day for operation. and one day for resting and checking on her stitches and stuff. then we were able to go get her and she was a happy little puppy and jumped right into my arms when i got there =D it wasn't as long when my brother's dog went in to get spayed though. they only kept her over night and my brother was able to go get her the next day =)

    I took her to the Human Society's spay/neuter clinic, and it's just a one day thing. I dropped her off at 7 this morning and I have to go pick her up at 4 this afternoon. Only three more hours, and I can't wait. My house is too quiet without her.

    In the end, spaying is always better! (: It's hard to leave them there though and when they come home, to see them all groggy and freaked out.<br>Although, our female Spaniel/Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix wasn't groggy at all when we picked her up, she was really hyper and we had to try and calm her down so she didn't hurt herself. D:

    Sophie was very alert in the car on the way home, and when we got here and I let her out of her carrier, she stood up and immediately drunkenly walked into the arm chair. >.< She's been asleep since we got home, except for the 10 seconds she chased a fly around the living room and I had to put a stop to it. D: I haven't gotten her to drink anything yet, so I'm afraid to give her anything to eat.
