Already discussed but...

The vaccinations for dogs have no effect whatsover on them yet it costs $50 to do it. It's a nice realistic option other than the fact that it doesn't do anything to benefit anybody.

It'd be neat if you had to get your dogs vaccinated before you were allowed to show them. Isn't it required in real life when competing dogs?
And maybe it could be required before you breed a dog? Or at least have some effect on breeding if the dogs are vaccinated? Not sure how it would work, just a suggestion.

If these have been suggested before, as I do know that the vaccinations' useless cost has already been brought up, please just ignore! (:

But I agree ;) Even though it could sometimes be a pain for eventers, if they want to just try a dog they rescued and trained out at shows or something to see if their any good. 0_o

 • I like the idea and it's not like it's something that would break the bank for a lot of players if it was mandatory to compete/breed. I like the idea that it could affect the breeding, like maybe if you vaccinate the parents you get better pups or even just have all of the bars full when the pups are born.

Well, it'd only be a one time thing or something. Or maybe every 3+ years of the dogs life or something. For it to be vaccinated before it can start competing. And there's always a rescue or two online so I don't think it'd be a big pain for too many players. Plus, they could always vaccinate their pups right as they're born or something if they know they'll be used for breeding/showing and they wouldn't have to worry about it ever again (if it's a one time deal).

I thought it was a cheap way to make the vaccinations useful, yeah. I don't know exactly what effect it could have on the pups from vaccinated parents but I do believe it should play some sort of factor to make vaccinating valuable.

 • Maybe showing not breeding, not everyone can get hold of a rescue when need be.

 • I don't have much to say about this but to make a little comment.
It was said that vaccinantions and whatnot have no effect in this game, that isn't totally true.
A long time ago, I don't remember exactly the circumstances or the reason but I was an inexperienced player and I did something to one of my dogs on here to make it sick. I couldnt train it, couldn't groom it, all I would get was a notice my dog was sick and needed to see a vet. After much asking around, a rescue kennel helped me and gave me vaccinations or someother medical whatnot and my dog was fixed.
I don't even know if this game still has this or not but theres one example of a dog needing vaccinations.

*shurgs*
Therese my two cents worth.

I've actually never heard of this. o.o
I doubt it's still in the game if it as before because we'd most likely know about it.
 • They healed the dog or whatever for 2k
Vaccinantion is like 50 or 500 forgot, they don't do anything.

When a dogs "Overall Condition" is down you can't train it the full 6 times, rescue kennels can heal the dog to fix their "Overall Condition".

It's $50 for vaccinations.
I knew that rescue kennels could heal dogs but I had no idea that you couldn't train them properly if they weren't healed.
 • Yes my mom always shows our dogs they HAVE to be up to date on there shots or they CAN NOT go in that show ring..same for my horse! And for breeding you have to be careful cause some stuff can kill the puppies!
