I was wondering if this is a giftie colour. It appears to me that it would be but the fact that it can be found on several different breeds makes me think that it must be a normal colour. If someone could help me out with this it would be great. No, because the dog descends from a purebred Red Wheaten Glen of Imaal Terrier. Red Wheaten is a breed color. (:

Nope, not a giftie. If you go two generations back, it's a color from a Glen of Imaal Terrier, which makes it a breed color just passed down by wolf hybreeding.

Ya, I think that they should just be mutts like every other cross that we have on VP
