How do people neglect and abuse their children?? I just don't understand. I was walking past some guy's house with Bully and I saw a little girl standing outside on her driveway crying, with no clothes on, in broad daylight!! She was standing there trying to cover up, and it was FREEZING outside. I could tell she couldn't have been more then six years old. I had no idea what was going on. What the heck are you supposed to do in that situation anyway? I stupidly yelled "Are you ok?", when she so obviously was not, before I ran up there and took off my sweater then gave it to her. I called the cops, the best thing to do, it's not like I was going to send her back into her house. Turns out her parents send her outside like that for punishment. I don't want to be to graphic, but she had a lot of bruises. The little girl's name was Jewels. This is a PERSON... a CHILD... how can someone be so heartless to do this to her?? It's disgusting. I hate thinking that there are sick people like this out there.
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD

  • I don't like children, but I do respect all life forms unless you give me a reason not to. How could anyone not notice before? I mean you don't see a naked girl covered in bruises every day right? That poor girl! :(

  • Very glad you called the police. What did they do/say?

  • Good for you. I am glad to see someone do something about a problem. That is what I would have done!
  • When the cops finally arrived they immediately got her blankets and a police woman took her after we said goodbye, I couldn't see her after that. We basically told them what we had witnessed, and they took it all down, then told us that they would keep in contact. We actually weren't involved much after that. We kept our distance but saw them trying to look into the house because no one answered the door. This one police woman was actually trying to make it pretty clear to me and my mom that this wasn't any of our business, aside from what we could tell them.. which doesn't make much sense to me. The fact that we don't know what her future is going to be is driving me crazy though.
