When someone puts you on ignore, it's obviously for a reason: they're done talking to you. So please, don't get your friend to come and send a message to me for you. I am so sick and tired of this it's not even funny. I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to talk to your friend. I don't want to listen to you asking me why I ignored you. So think twice before you try and contact me with a friend's kennel, your other kennel, whatever. I'll know if I put you on the list on accident. Don't bother asking if I did or not. Just needed to get that off my chest..phew! Now I feel better. xD

I would add to this by saying that using a different account to message is considered harassment and can get a player banned. Likewise, if a player on ignore asks another player to message, it can be considered harassment and can get both of them banned.
