Fame Points Earned.

Quick question.<br>If your dog places first, how many fame points do you earn?<br>Second?<br>Third?<br><br>Or is it all the same, regardless of where your dog places?

    Piper, I think it's all the same. I earn points no matter where I place. But I don't know if it differs depending on where you place..

    I think it's based both on how well your dog does in the event and the amount of Eventers.

    I know the amount of competition points the dog gets is different.<br>The ones that determine regional, national, etc.<br>That one is based on where the dog places & how many other entrants there are.<br><br>I'm wondering if fame points that the kennel or player earns is different.<br>Is it one point per event, per dog?<br>Or is it calculated differently?

    Fame is like competition score, it varies depending on the number of dogs in the event, as well as where the dog places. How much is actually given, I don't know. Probably admin1 and admin2 would be the only ones who could say.

    Hey sandy.. I've been putting more and more thought into your question here and want to share some observations.<br><br>My fame available used to end in 4. Now it ends in 9.<br><br>Most of the time my dogs get two points. However, an event just went out.<br><br>1 dog in first, 2nd, 3rd and fourth.<br><br>I got 5 points.<br><br>So this leads me to the conclusion that your normally get two fame points except when you get first, where you get 3 points. <br><br>Hope that helps some. :D Unless my dogs got 1 point of fame and another got 4 to make up for it, but dogs in 5th place get 2 points so there's no reason for that. And I never got below that in this event. I've also observed where my dogs placed very low and I still got 4 points of fame (2 dogs in 1 event that went off singularly.)
