How Do I Comfort. . .

My RL friend had two dogs about a month ago. They were both rescued and she loved them dearly.
About 3 weeks ago, Bo passed away. He was 12 years old. Tonight, Brindi passed away. . . She was 11.

Within a month she had lost her babies. She is in shock right now and all I can think about to do is to say, I'm sorry and just be there for her.
I'll take her out for ice cream probably tomorrow but still. . . I can't imagine loosing two of my four babies within a month. Actually, if I lost one, I would be heart broken.
I know what its like to loose a pet. I've lost 3 (not including the ones that ran away) but still. . . She is like my sister and her pets were like my own.
I saw Brindi, SAW her today around noon and she was fine! She was wagging her tail happy to see me.
Now its almost 11pm here and shes gone. I feel so bad.
I can't do anything. I feel helpless and I can only imagine how she feels. On top of that, I'm suppose to be writing a paper for my english class -_-

RIP
BO & BRINDI <3

 • I'm so sorry Bobby! D:
I'm betting almost everyone here has lost a loved pet, so we all know what you and your friend are going through.
There's nothing that I can think of that you could say that would do any good. Nothing makes losing pets any easier.
As long as she has you by her side, she'll get through this. <3

 • Thanks Tuff. . . I got her distracted by the essay we both have to do. She's in my class. So I guess thats sorta good that her mind is a little distracted from it.
I just know when she wakes up and goes into her kitchen and doesn't see her dog she's had most of her life in her crate, its gonna hurt so bad. . . ):
I hate it when my friends are hurt or in a bad situation. . . *sigh* This whole thing sucks. But thats what comes with owning a pet. . . Just, both her dogs?
Within the same month? Wow. . .
 • brindi was probably suffering from a broken heart (yeah it is known of) you could tell your friend that no matter what happens they will still be together playing in the fields of heaven with no harm or worries to face them

 • I remember when I lost Cheyenne. It hurt so much. I think it hurt more knowing it happened when I wasn't living at home at the time. When we got Clover my mom pulled out Cheyenne's old dish for her to use when we visited, the memories all came back. It's hard losing any pet, but by being there for her you are doing the right thing.
 • What I think it was is just a while ago, their neighbor's dog came home with a bad case of ticks and that spread to their backyard.
Bo died because something formed in his eye that went all the way to his brain. Brindi got the same thing last night. . . How weird is that?
Both dogs struggled to get rid of their ticks. And I swear, this family did EVERYTHING in their power to get rid of them. They gave their dogs constant
medicated baths, special collars, sprayed, everything. . . I think they died because of the ticks. Plain and simple. Which makes me mad because if their
stupid neighbor could keep her dog in, this wouldn't of happened. But I'm not for sure. . .

She said that when Brindi was about to pass, they let her out back, her favorite place to go, and died in the SAME spot as Bo. Thats love right there. . .
That reminds me of Where the Red Fern Grows. . . *sigh* I'm still mad, sad and shocked. . . I got a lot of cheer up to do today though. . . ):

Thanks guy <3
