Absolutely Disgusting.
I was disgusted beyond belief today. I was at the barn with a friend, and the kittens owner left her tack stall open (where the kittens are) so that we could take care of them: feed them, fill their water, let them out, etc. Well, before the owner "cleaned" their litter box, it was gross, just gross. Brown, solid brown. With poop. She covered it with about a half a centimeter thick layer of fresh litter, over that gross stuff. Over it. They haven't been feed in three days and their water is tipped over... they are completely emaciated. You can feel their backbones... they are so lucky they are alive. We feed them a ton today and and they drank for about ten minutes, non-stop. They were <span style="text-decoration:underline">Happy</span> to be drenched in <span style="font-style:italic">Water</span> from the hose! Okay, we cleaned out their litter box, and found some sort of poop stuff and found little parasite like worm things at the bottom... that's just disgusting. These poor cats are neglected, and we have to take care of them. When we can get to them. Which is really sad, because they are locked in a stall in a tiny, disgusting cage about 1 and a half feet by 1 and a half feet. There is three of them!! Three! They get fed about a handful of hard, adult cat food. Maybe every two days or so. Hopefully we can start getting to them more often. Same with her horses! She has a 6 month foal and a horse.. the horse is huge: 16 hands or so. They live in a stall together. In poop. She puts half a bag of fresh shavings over the poop after about a month or so. She didn't feed them for three days. Three days. It's just disgusting.
