I have an 11 year old American and English Cocker Spaniel mix. Her name is Jessie and she's wonderful. She's still the happiest and friendliest dog after 11 years, and it's rare not to see her wagging her little stub of a tail.

We got her when I was 6 years old at a local breeder who advertised in the newspaper. Jessie was the runt and therefore, the last puppy left, and there were fleas all over here. Over the years I taught her a bunch of tricks, and she's still learning more.

When she was 9, she got Lyme disease and developed Bell's Palsy (half of her face was paralysed.) She still has not fully healed from it and cannot funtion the left side of her face like she should.

Here she is.
