• I feel ya. It got up to almost $4 a gallon here, but it's been going down for a couple weeks. It's $3.36 up the road now. If we can get right around $3 I'll be a happy gal.

 • Gas here is about $3.72. It's ridiculous how much gas is considering the price of the barrel has been going down.
 • Its almost 4 dollars here as well. I agree Oats, if it can go down to 3 dollars and stay there for a while, I'll be happy too.
What I hate is when it goes down to a decent price and you're low on gas but have enough till tomorrow. . . Tomorrow comes and you go to fill up
and the price has shot up before you know it! Thats happened twice to me. I've learned my lesson after that last time. Always fill her up when the price is fair
and you have cash on you XD haha
 • Yeah, its almost $4 here but for Diesel its even higher which stinks cause my brother has a big Chevy Diesel truck.
Oops, I clicked post too soon lol.
But anyways, my friend works with the stocks and it is just a myth that gas would be at $5, it is staying at $4 and no higher at the moment. Its getting lower though right now.

I don't know how many times I do this! Or I got to visit my parents (they live in one province and I live in the other) and the gas will be lower here, but I think "It's always cheaper near their place!" So I go and it's more expensive. This usually happens when I am on empty and have no choice. Or I'll get back and the price has gone back up. Ugh, it's so frustrating.

What I do is find two gas stations that are side by side and they usually have a little price war.
 • I notice the price jump a lot. There's a Shell station that can't decide if it want's its gas to be $3.49 or $3.55, it seems to be one of the two every other day. I don't know if you guys have grocery stores that do gas reward points with their savings cards, but I know here BP will use gas points with Bi-Lo, and every month, depending on how much you shop at Bi-Lo, you get cents off each gallon of gas. I had $0.20 off gas last month, all month. That's always nice.

 • Lucky for me I don't drive too often but I burned a ton of gas driving about 3-4hrs in one day. Summer is when I hardly drive and I try to avoid it as much as possible. Its hard to get gas when you aren't working and your mom is out of a job too.

I have a honda civic so I get decent gas mileage so I'm happy for that.

I hope prices go down or they find a more practical way to fuel cars ;;

 • Man.. I have a '99 Suburban.. Talk about gas prices >.<
Actually it does better than my friend's '07 Sonoma. But that's only because I'm not an insane driver XD
It gets good mileage for it's size at least.. Between 16-18 mpg :D

 • Oh and here.. Gas is about $3.90... $4 some places.. It's horrendous.

 • Tarn, I used to have a civic and I miss it so much. It was awesome compare to the truck I drive now.
GMC Sierra 2500 HD eats 50 bucks of gas for breakfast o.o
 • I drive a 95 Civic DX hatchback. My little 4 cylinder has been a life saver on gas, and the fact that it's a hatchback helps too. I get close to 40 MPG. I really want an SUV, and I have a guy willing to trade me his '01 Explorer for my car. But I love Pip. xD

Older Tacoma (2001) that is black and semi lifted. It
has to have matching tires. I wanna take it off roading here and take it out to the
dunes ^^ Will be fun. • Its all fallout from that BP oil spill. It doesnt seem like it because the spill was so long ago but it is.

They couldn't raise prices to make up for lost profit right away after the spill, since that would implicate them for sure and be considered politically incorrect, also as sort of an additional middle finger to the people who were already being effected. Now that it has been long enough, the gas companies are speeding to catch up with the profit they had lost. Generally all gas prices raise together, so BP is raising prices to make up for lost profit while other companies see an opportunity to make additional profits by raising as well. Its today's business and political systems. No matter how much we have improved from the monopolies of the pre WWII and great depression era but the basic concept of American business remains the same. "Push the law as far as you can before actually violating it in order to make as big a profit as possible."

Sorry if I'm rambling about things that are irrelevant lol. I agree though, it does suck.
