Well we all know about that famous INGORE button, but we also know the downfalls of it such as:
1.) They can make a new account and still bug you
2.) If they already have another account they can still bug you
What if we had an ignore button that ingored everyone who has been registered under that specific e-mail or IP. That way we wouldn't have OP's that have to waste there time dealing with this problem instead of doing what they want to do on VP like the rest of us. I'm sure they didn't pay $25+ to be a sponcer kennel and not be able to do what they paid for (breeding, training, ect).

 • I don't think this is really necessary.
If people create a new account to harass someone, ops need to talk to them and perhaps remove them from the game if they insist on creating trouble.
If they are not a sponsor and create a new account to harass someone, again, they need to spoken to about the rule of only having one account as well as harassment.
If they are a sponsor and have more than one account, they still need to be talked to about harassment.
If someone can create a new account, they can also use a different e-mail, which would nullify this type of ignore.
IPs are not always stable, and from an Ops point of view, it seems the people who are the most insistent on breaking the rules also have changing IPs or the ability to use proxies, which again would nullify this type of ignore.

In the end, it comes back to Ops needing to be involved if someone is being harassed.

The issue of harassment isn't a large issue on Virtual Pups, or it is not reported much. For us, this means that either the current ignore button does what it's supposed to do or people report things that aren't really harassment. Or they erase the harassing messages, so there's no proof of harassment. Most cases of harassment are taken care of with one message from an Op, so the difficulty for us isn't that great.
