Guess how many puppies Bully and Champagne are having!! We took her to the vet today, and he felt around a little and announced a number that sort of surprised me. It's not a miracle or anything but take a guess!!
So..my lucky number is 15 and I'll guess that. Average litter size for bully breeds though are 5-10. So if it surprises you, perhaps maybe 12 as a second guess?
lol, she's having 11, vet said possibly 12.. isn't that AMAZING though!?! I was really expecting only four or five!! There goes my hopes of keeping all of them, I can only keep two now. I have six people on my waiting list though, six amazing people that are extreme enthusiast of the breed, so I know that my pups will be in good hands.

Another subject to bring up, should I nueter the puppies before I sell? Five of the people on my waiting list are perfectly fine with the pups being nuetered, because they only want them as pets, not for competition. But one person on that list is definitely NOT ok with it, he says that he will only use the dog as a pet but he wants him to have all of his body parts intact. 0.0 I kind of have the suspicion that he wants to breed the puppy, only problem is I don't want the puppies to be bred, I want to be the only one capable of continueing Bully's legacy... he's MY dog. I will be the only one competing his children!! xD I dunno though.. I need some insight from you peoplez... xD I tend to be selfish when it comes to my dogs and their children, so this will be difficult. But that's what you guys are here for right?? : ) BTW the pups are going for 4k each, which is actually pretty good, the cheapest pure bred Tosa with great lines that I've seen for sale went for 7k. I've been offered upwards of 8k by people that have seen Bully compete, and I've been offered 0 from a guy who says he needs a good guard dog but can't pay. -.- People are insane sometimes...
That's awesome, Zyn!

I wouldn't sell the dog to the guy then. He's not going to be a good owner if he doesn't believe in neutering. That's ridiculous. If he's only using the pup as a pet? I think you should have the pups altered before sending them to their new owners but it's up to you.
oh, good so i get the other 3?

I think you should make a contract stating that this puppy CAN NOT be bred, if hey do you can sew them and take the puppy back.
Thanks Fin, I'm definitely leaning towards nueter/spaying. I do get a bad feeling from the guy, i'll talk to him, I definitely don't want my puppies ending up in a bad home or the fighting rink, that's my real fear.

Em, I thought about contracts, but if the family decides to leave the state and dissappear then there's really nothing I can do. Maybe these people will be nice enough to give me updates on the puppies, but these are dogs, not human children, and it's not like they're required by law to do treat this situation like a child is involved. Nuetering is best.

me thinks....
I'm a little hesitant to post pictures of Bully anywhere on the internet. I've already come across pictures of him on a Tosa Inu breeder's site, they were claiming that he was a stud at their kennel, and I had to go through this long irritating process of trying to make them take the pictures down. I have someone making me a banner of two Tosas together, they're exact replicas of Bully and Cham, it should be done tomorrow. I haven't really thought of names, maybe a little help?? I do know that I want one of them to be named Bully Jr. though. He'll be the best male in the litter, and he'll continue Bully's name and competitive level hopefully, he'll be the only unaltered male. : )
