Grr. I return to see that only one of my dogs has been rescued. This wouldn't matter to me as much if it hadn't had been a dog I got and named in place of my old real life Newfoundland. He was only rescued due to the fact he was a 'giftie' (a very very common one on that note.) Now he's off somewhere else and neutered. Ahh well. That's what I get for being gone. And after all, I have real dogs.

You could always contact the new owner and ask about getting him back. Some do it for free, some have a small fee, some take advantage of the situation and try to make you pay loads of money. I've recently been in that situation. A dog of Garnet's was rescued from their kennel but in my possession when they came looking for it. Messaged me about it and we had a discussion/friendly talk about it. Now the dog is a gifty that I planned to breed the color to 10x4 with, so I didn't want to give the dog up right then and there. Garn was informed the dog would be old and would then become 6oak but was fine with it, just wanted the dog back. So there were no issues between us, Garn's getting the dog back, I get my gifty color, and all is well

I release the parent though when breeding colors so the #oak doesn't increase but 6oak isn't really too much of a bother. Anyways. Garn's paying to get the dog back, but getting it back nonetheless. (Would've been for free had I just rescued the dog, but I trained for it). She was Super thrilled and made a praise thread for me XD Then after that we became friends after getting to talkin more. So, point of the story is always try cuz the worst that could happen is they say no. Unless you find it pointless now cuz the dog is neutered and whatever else. But yeah. I say contact them and see what happens

Same thing happened to me. Like BabyBean said, just ask. I had to pay 500k, but I got my dog back nonetheless. Now I'm showing that dog and happy that I Paid to get it back.

Yea I did that, just waiting on a response now. Sad to see him neutered though. He made it regional and was an import.

I have to find it again really quick.. The owner sent him to a novice trainer... Even though he's fully trained and stat maxxed >.< So where I found him wasn't really his owner's kennel..

Hmm. Well loyalty isn't at 200 any longer and aggro is low. So perhaps it could've been sent for those things? Or if anything, sent there to hide from being in their kennel thinking you would think they didn't have it anymore? Idk. I was gonna say depending on how much they age him for (if training) at least he's still fairly young. Til I went back and checked the lifespan which is only 10 years =/ If the owner replies soon enough, hopefully you can keep the dog from being aged. If not, I'm sorry to say it's probably a lost cause..

Mhm! Bean was VERY sweet about the whole thing! =D and i have THREE national show dogs (one of which is on the top dogs list) that had been rescued from the SAME kennel the gifty was in (that bean had) and i messaged the girl (puppydoglover) and she was very sweet about it as well! I paid a little for them and she sold them right back to me and we are friends now and talk all the time! =D

Oh, kool, you're friends with her? Lol, you shoulda informed me so I could be all Yayz! Ya know? ;p I'm never off long enough to have my dogs rescued. Even when I'm on vacation (if without my laptop) and/or can't get online, I bug my friends to do a few things for me. -That's- how addicted I am, lmao. Anywho. Best of wishes, Newf.
