I got Appendicitis

Last night I visited the hospital for the second time yesterday and was diagnosed with Appendicitis. I had my Appendix removed this morning as well as a fairly large birthmark. The birthmark left a scar about 4 inches long while the other entry sites were very little. It hurts like crazy and so far I have to stay in the hospital for two nights so far/ I also have to worry about the risk of getting ammonia from the Anestishia in my lungs. All drugged up on pain medication, just a little bit loopy. Anyone else ever have Appendicitis?<br><br><br>My stomach is all bright yellow from the iodine, and to take my Cat scan yesterday I had to drink two massive cups of Iodine and water. Thats nasty.

    You mean pneumonia, not ammonia, correct? Ammonia is a chemical, it's used for cleaning and it's what makes cat pee smell so bad lol.

    I'm really sorry to hear you had to go through all that Oreo :( I've never had that problem but I had to have a c-section after being in labor for 12hours. I had pneumonia before the c-section to begin with so it really sucked when I'd cough. I had to be careful to not rip my staples out.

    I'm sorry. I've heard that's painful.<br>This may sound like a dumb question, but why did you get your birthmark removed? Was it just in an unfortunate place and was removed during the appendix removal?
