A good best friend of everyone's at the barn... sweet ole' Romeo. Everyone loved him so much, but he was really old. My mom told me to prepare for this day but I never put much thought into it. We are guessing he died because he was so old and he coliced. This morning, Melissa who feeds was putting grain in his bucket... usually he is at his bucket waiting for his grain but he wasn't there. Instead, he was laying down in the corner of his paddock sadly dead. It was a very unfortunate loss but he was 27 and very skinny and had arthritis.

Here is a picture of him:

<img src="
