I think most vp-ers know about the situation with my family because I've vented so much about it. Well I have some more for you guys.

On memorial day, my aunt (Merit) and her daughters (Alyssa and Bella) were at my grandma's with us. Reese and Alyssa (who are eight) had been playing downstairs by themselves for a while and Bella (who is six) said that they were fighting so I went to check it out. Reese said tha she picked up a toy that was sitting on the ground and Alyssa said it was hers and tried to kick Reese (Alyssa takes karate and is a green belt btw) so Reese grabbed Alyssa's neck to pull her down too so Alyssa punched Reese in the chest. Now Alyssa admitted to her dad (in private) that she did try to kick and punch Reese. WELL, by the time they got home, Alyssa's story had changed to "Reese attacked me and tried to strangle me!!!" Reese's story on the other hand didn't change much. Merit wanted Bibi (my grandma) to babysit her girls and she told her "Reese is not allowed to come over to your house when my girls are here because I don't want Alyssa getting beat up again!!!" so Bibi, who apparently had enough of her daughter's attitude, stands up to her practically told her that she couldn't tell her when she could and couldn't spend time with her grandchildren and that if she didn't like the way Bibi babysat, well then she could just find somebody else. Needless to say, Merit's husband stayed home with the girls that day. But oh no, that wasn't good enough. Merit didn't speak to us or Bibi for two weeks but Bibi still had to babysit, Merit just drove up, pushed the girls out of the car and drove off.
About a week ago, Reese was going with Bibi to clean our church and Bibi had to babysit so she was going to take all the girls out to lunch. Before they left, she called Merit, who threw a fit because Reese was going and wouldn't let her girls go to lunch with Bibi and Reese becuase (and I quuote) "I don't want Reese strangling my children!!!" And yet, they still had to spend two hours with Reese cleaning the church! So Merit drops her kids off with no lunch trying to make Bibi feel bad for them!

Oh and one other thing! Several weeks ago, Merit bought a 2,000 dollar flatscreen tv, they go out to expensive places like Red Robin and Logans like every other day, the kids get everything they want and she has the nerve to get Bibi to buy milkfor them because they "can't afford it" and to tell us that her family is "barely eating as it is"!!!! They infuriate me! It is so bad tha we are selling ourbig pretty house in the country, and the 20 acres it's on, buyng a piece of property and building a smaller house so that A) we can get a smaller house payment and
we can get away from...THEM!!!!

I would love to know what everyone thinks of my female-dog-ish aunt and her family. And to hear othe people's family problem stories.
