I do, I swear it's either I absolutely love them, or I hate them to death.
I just haven't been having the best luck with them..Some of it is my fault, I do admit, but I really don't war to sit in bed icing my ass/back/hip. I mean seriously.

Dude is lame, and on stall rest.
I'm paying to lease Dude, along with training him, and he'll never be ready for shows at the end of the month.
BO has no idea what happened or what's wrong.
BO is nice enough to let me ride Poco today though, since I found out this morning that Dude is on stall rest, but I had a trail ride planned.
Poco refused to go up the hill and I had to have someone else open the gate at the end because I'm assuming he was scared of the fencing that is part way across the top of the hill in that area.
Trail ride went decent, and Drew and I talked a decent amount (we're just getting out of a huge fight and working on the friend thing again). I got a bloody knee and a few scrapes, but it was otherwise really good.
So, we get back up to the barn and I decide to canter Poco some to get use to his extremely rough canter, since I might be ridin him quite a bit now. I took him up to the round pen and he did good goin in and letting ms shut the gate. I cantered him a bit, with spots of trotting because he's out of shape and lazy. He's throwing in some crowhops and some airs above ground stuff in, which I'm fine with. I was getting ready to cool him off, and I realise my saddle is ever so slightly crooked, so as I go to reposition it, he flies te opposite way and the saddle slides off his back and onto his side and almost under his belly..guess where I went? I fell on my ass.
Now, this saddle was tight as I could get it (tightened it 2-3 times before I got on) before our trail ride, and it didn't move to either side or too far back the whole trail ride (almost an hour), or while I was cantering him. I would have noticed since I tend to be extra careful since I've had to bail from a sliding saddle on one of my first rides. Well, I should've gotten back on, but I figured he's trained decently enough that he'll be fine next time when I tighten my girth 5 times, and in between.

So, I am here, laying in bed with an ice pack on my ass/back/hip where I dropped off the saddle. I'm going to be half dead tomorrow..and tomorrow I have plans to go with my friend Kelly hiking and such for pictures...

But overall, I'm mainly upset that Dude is on stall rest and I have no clue why he's lame, or if she even has him on bute or anything and that I wasn't careful enough to tighten my girth after a long trail ride..But I have my consequence for that, and I'll sure as hell not being forgetting that again. *le sigh*

Anyone else fall on their asses lately? Lol
