Drum Major/Field Commander Auditions (help?)

For this coming marching band season I am auditioning for drum major which also doubles as a field commander. <br>We have to go through a pretty tedious process that includes...<br>-teaching someone to march<br>-reading drill<br>-an interview-<br>-calling the band to attention<br>-conducting a pep band song<br><br>If you're into marching band, any ideas that you think will help me?
