Backing Out Last Minute...

So right now I'm not happy.<br>Not happy at all. <br>Tonight it my birthday party with quite a few of my friends. (but today is NOT my birthday)<br>Everyone RSVP'd a week ago. <br>My mom went out and got pizza, made cupcakes, and even decorated.<br>In the past 15 minutes, I've gotten 5 texts from 5 different people saying they can't come. <br>They are legit excuses and I know they are true, but they've known about those events since before this party was scheduled and they RSVP'd and waited until the last second to tell me they can't come. <br>Now I'm down to 9 people.<br>I'm honestly just a little irked. I figured I would vent it all before my guest arrived so I'm not a total grump.<br>I'm not trying to be all like, "oh they're spoiling my birthday!" or anything. I understand why they can't come, it's just the fact that they wait until the LAST POSSIBLE MINUTE!<br><br><br><br>ugh.<br><br>/end ranty rant

    I hear ya. I had my party last week and only invited 5 people. My school friends and church friends might not get along, so I had to choose to only include my closer church friends. Since I only invited a few, I was happy everyone could come. Then, the day before the party, someone suddenly said "Oh, it's tomorrow? In that case, I can't go, I have a family thing." Well my mom later found out she was hanging out with boys from school.
